Geez...everyone and there's momma is reporting this, yet none of the sites are official SCEA stating this. Was able to find out that Innovyx is a Digital Messaging Agency.

Lots have received this "email"...thus far, I have not. Who knows, maybe I'll get it later today or this week.

Something is going on further than what's being put out in the main stream media....why is there now all of a sudden going to be a separate division for handling the online servers?

Yeah, I just received this email myself. I'm not going to agree with it myself. Not because I hate Sony or anything, just because I won't be using PSN. So if I don't agree and they choose to close my account then they better refund all my games. Last I checked, you need to have an active account in order to play your games.

They don't have to refund you anything. You CHOOSE to not maintain your PSN account. That's on you.

OK, let me put it this way - if SONY starts charging for the PSN, it will be the final nail on the coffin that is their gaming division. I don't know about the rest of the world, but XBOX is way more popular than PS3 in North America (for sure; although the Wii is probably the best selling thing but frankly let me just say this it's a "baby's toy" when compared with the 2 "big boys"). There's a major difference btwn the PSN & XBL - everyone knows the XBL is a paid service; while the PSN has never been. If they start charging ppl for this **** they are just going to alienate both old & new customers (old customers who never had to pay for PSN & new customers who'd rather buy an XBOX, 'cause all their friends have it)
