I have been toying with the idea of front paging this for a day of two. Ever since I thought I should get a little more active on Twitter. While online I noticed a few Tweets by @dantezteam claiming access to PSN on pretty much any custom firmware. At first I was skeptical until I asked some MODS here to validate his claims and Shaitan pulled through. Well my skepticism was met with truth, PSN is back for custom firmware users!!

OpenPS3FTP can be found under Network column not Games - Note: first time I used this program. I wondered where the hell it was. LMFAO

Make sure to backup your CERT27 and also to REBOOT the PS3 after install.

So is 4.21 DEX how people are able to get the PS Plus downloads working or was that just people talking out of their asses?

weird, any CFW besides TB CFW wont let me download bought stuff in PSN.

I just upgraded to TB CFW with TB dongle in and modified some things to allow PSN, and after that, I can now download stuff on PSN, including PSN games and DLC.

CFW 3.55 KMEAW, REBUG, MFW 3.55, etc.... throws me a some installation error while doing the activation.

it stopped working........ now asks for update......

update: my pc disconnected from the router and changed its ip...
i had to reconfigure the ip and everything works perfect
my mistake sorry (i lost 2 hours)

still working here, although the updates are still in 4.21 though so I dont see the reason why it wouldnt work. Maybe you need to inspect more on it first.

Depends on what the game was signed for. If it was signed as 3.60 and you are on 3.55, just download the update to your pc, sign it with 3.55 keys, and install it as a pkg on your ps3.

And this is exactly why we can't have nice things. Screw these people for enabling cheaters and hackers back on PSN on CFWs and ruining multiplayer for people who pay for and support the games and the developers. If you want to cheat and hack your games for fun, go right ahead, but STAY THE **** OFF PSN!

how bad ass would it be to have the slow mo while online. Btw i dont support cheating online.. pointless except for your ego i guess. (Dumb)

I don't think so because we can't write to flash on 4.21DEX, I tried it on 3.55DEX but nothing to do with the PS Store would work properly

Anyone know of a 1.20 Patch for MW3 just to get some Online MP action in before the door closes? Other than that I'm just online to sync trophies

I used the ****psn program and i've done all the steps well , and i made test connection and succeeded but when i enter the psn and select the option "use existing account"...message comes up saying "the connection to the server timed out".so what's the problem as the test operation functions well.
any help will be appreciated.

Hey I know you aren't talking to me? I pay for my games thank you very much. as for cheating well if you suck that bad to have to cheat to beat opthers I hope you get banned. WTF is wrong with a legit match between users? just because I'd rather have linux running on my machine than PSN access does not make me a thief! So pull your head out sony's rear please and think about this. when a consoles disc drive breaks. you have another broken unit with a working drive but can't just swap em..... Why cuz they are married. It's thanks to hackers that this has been fixed! Sony's security prevents legit PSN users from downloading using and playing there games from the PSN so I have had to obtain what I bought through data transfers and the good old web. There security also prevent a simple repair from being made. And FYI please don't respond as it will not be read.

I'll keep using my other OFW console for Online gaming. I don't wanna risk brick my console. I only play PRO online so no need of this. I don't like playing with flash files and certificates. Sorry, not really good news for me. Till there's an automated patch pkg file with no risk of brick i'll keep using me other console...

I can confirm it working too I had some head scratching but finally I logged in :P

I had to set my Linksys Router (with DD-WRT) to use DMZ with the IP of the PS3... And yeah, I didn't used my PSN acc since the new agreement and I had to login through my PC, change my pass and accept the new terms... than - bam, everything working fine!

Also, forgot to mention that I had to turn of the sh$ty windows firewall too
