I have been toying with the idea of front paging this for a day of two. Ever since I thought I should get a little more active on Twitter. While online I noticed a few Tweets by @dantezteam claiming access to PSN on pretty much any custom firmware. At first I was skeptical until I asked some MODS here to validate his claims and Shaitan pulled through. Well my skepticism was met with truth, PSN is back for custom firmware users!!

OpenPS3FTP can be found under Network column not Games - Note: first time I used this program. I wondered where the hell it was. LMFAO
OpenPS3FTP Username: root
OpenPS3FTP Password: anything - what ever you want

Make sure to backup your CERT27 and also to REBOOT the PS3 after install.

Confirmed WORKING!

IP address .... 192.168.1.*** - A IP NOT USED BY OTHER PC's and SUCH in your home/business
Subnet Mask ... 255.255.255.0
Default gateway... 192.168.1.1 - YOUR DEFAULT ROUTER IP
DNS Server1.... 192.168.1.*** - YOUR PC IP
DNS Server2.... 192.168.1.1 or 8.8.8.8

R2 - CO-OP

that's cool. everytime it happens, i tell my online buddies i might play them in a game, but then i just get lazy and never activate it :P I just don't care much for online gaming (probably cause i suck and i also play older games)

It's sure as not as stable as the other PSN bypasses. I'm constantly booted from the game and have to restart the game. Might be just me IDK.

How risky is something like this. i might use this to get some stuff over to my 3.55 PS3 but i have literally hundreds if not a thousand dollars invested in my PSN account from various purchases for the PS3, PSP, and Vita. Im not sure its worth me risking all those purchases for a few psn games and to get my trophies synced up.

btw hw to make a backup of cer27?? i totally forgot hw to use this anymore..lol..i used it when f*ck PSN was released for the 1st time which is ages ago..

enable dev_blind with multiman then go to dev_blind/data/cert/cert27

rename old cert27 - cert27.bak

then just change the ps3 network connections simple lol .. ohh i used the 4.11 spoofer on rebug to

anyone know how to get around this error?

this is on my windows machine, windows 7, set as xp compatibility and run as admin, firewall disabled..

I configured the ips, then when testing the internet connection it said DNS error 80710102. It managed to obtain IP adress, but cant connect, I replaced the cert file while ago with the first f**kPSN, PLS HELP!!

sashundera change it over with the new one thats what i did

make sure your pc ip is not the same as your ps3 one

and that primary and sec are the same as your pc

thats exactly how i got mines on

sweet! when i get home im gonna go get the new youtube app since youtube does not work on the ps3 anymore and requires that app. till now theres been no way to load it hense no youtube.

thats a great news. but too bad i cant get online because of my crappy data thanks to my sole operator. really great news for cfw users who have been dying to play bf3 or mw3.

Easy Fix, just close out all other programs you currently have running using network connections. uTorrent, Dropbox, Teamviewer, etc. all cause error for the F*ckPSN

can you help me?
i've done everything from the tutorial, but f*ckPSN isn't working.
firewall and other programms which access the internet are disabled.
i'm getting a dns-error on the ps3 and f*ckPSN shows that:
