I am the manager over at PS3usercheat english forum here are a few thing to help you out

I have no affiliation with these guys i just love cheat devises and asked if i could moderate there english forum so I know all the bugs and in and outs of this dongle

Some codes work cross region just load the game and then the cheats and see if they work

Some times you have to edit the sfo file to reflect the game region and version

We had a list of confirmed games/codes but hte forum has been down for a while

Some codes just dont work.

Gran turismo 5 codes work for level 40 you must use the 1.00 version and hold select down before you collect your money and exp keep holding till you see your level at 40.
the money code works on 1.00 1.09 so use the level 40 codes on 1.00 then update to 1.09

If the console freezes at any point you need to use the switch on the back for the phats and unplug for the slims this will clear the memory and allow the codes to work some

Some times codes don't work try them again a coouple time we had an list of confirmed cheats over at the forum but the forum has been down for a while

Anybody that still has doubts if it works or not, I used the Crystarium at level 10 code for Final Fantasy XIII. I tested on that game since there was never any updates for it. At the time I was at level 2 or 3, but now my Crystarium is maxed out.

Just remember your GAME ID and Game Version have to match

how to get cheats working with disc games? also how do you load cheats with games that are on the hard drive so far it just froze my ps3 with a black screen and i had to pull the plug, psn games work fine.

To make it work on 3.41 u should just need to unpkg it and resigne it just dont finalize it . .. its set for FW 00192001 so 1.92 but dont know if the functiosn will work right on 3.41 since its made for the 3.55 FW ..

I'm playing FFXIII from original disc. It should work the same for backups. Just check your game ID's and versions. You might have to delete game data, then update only to the version that matches the cheats. Look here for specific version updates

I have rebug 3.55.1 and it makes my ps3 freeze

You need to update to 3.55.2, then 3.55.7. 3.55.1 was faulty

Go to official 3.55 first. Some people say you don't have to, but it's an extra precaution and only takes a couple minutes. You can find the official 3.55 in the downloads section up top and 3.55.2 Rebug and .7 update at Codename: REBUG

It's generrally advised to go to OFW 3.55 first but isn't required.
