In more PS3usercheat news, oct0xor has just released the updated PS3usercheat PKG v2.2 which also includes to latest cheatlist.dat v6.0. Along with the most recent cheat set, oct0xor has also stated he intends to release a method to modify your own cheatlist.dat's in the future. Now remember, you do not need the PS3usercheat dongle to use this PKG; and also, this PKG does not work the Cobra USB firmware, or the True Blue firmware.

Improvements over Previous Edition: (thanks BahumatLord!)

List is in alphabetical order and it scans your internal/external GAMES folders for what games you have.
Puts a little key symbol next to the ones you can use.
Load your game backups directly from the cheat menu.
Checks that your game versions match before loading.

the other intresting thing is there engen is running in game.. wonder if anyone will look into this to make maybe a posable Mem dumper ..

a mem dumper / search and replace function would be the holy grail as far as I'm concerned. Needs somebody smarter than me tho. Hopefully it comes to be

Yes, those are 2 quickly thrown together themes for Code Unique 2.
My post was just to point out that that much like many other scene related apps, this program is skinable.
I found that out about 20 seconds after loading it up for the first time and deciding that I didn't like how it looked
I assume Code Unique 1 can also be skinned but I haven't tried it out and there probably isn't much point now anyway.

My free time is occupied with something else at the moment so there won't be any "The opium2k Collection - Code Unique" posts in the immediate future (if at all) but it would definitely be cool to see some new names making themes for PS3 homebrew.

I'm going to have to throw together a theme for my favorite substance. gotta go find some pot leaves and such. later. I wonder if it's possible to get the song in the backround changed. so far I haven't tried anything that played but haven't really played much. I'll be back! lol

Yes, the music on the xmb (SND0.AT3) and in the actual program (BOOT.MP3) can both be changed.

Is there anything special about the MP3 cuz I tried replacing it with a mario 3 world 1 mp3 I had and got only silence.

shouldn't be anything special. Length shouldn't matter, but I'd try to use a new mp3 at 192 kbps @48000 Hz

My memory is a bit fuzzy but file size and/or length could be a factor. If I remember correctly some of the older builds of multiMAN had issues with music over a certain size and code unique 2 uses multiman 2.00 as a base.
The only two I've tested were 192kb/s @44100 Hz (3 MB) and 224kb/s @44100 Hz (6.05 MB) and both worked.

Also, the file might be case sensitive. In other words, make sure the file is called BOOT.MP3 and not boot.MP3, BOOT.mp3 or boot.mp3

This interface is much better than the first edition. It is lacking a lot of cheats for games in the US and I don't know if people are still creating new codes for them but hopefully they start again because of this cool pkg.
