In more PS3usercheat news, oct0xor has just released the updated PS3usercheat PKG v2.2 which also includes to latest cheatlist.dat v6.0. Along with the most recent cheat set, oct0xor has also stated he intends to release a method to modify your own cheatlist.dat's in the future. Now remember, you do not need the PS3usercheat dongle to use this PKG; and also, this PKG does not work the Cobra USB firmware, or the True Blue firmware.

Improvements over Previous Edition: (thanks BahumatLord!)

List is in alphabetical order and it scans your internal/external GAMES folders for what games you have.
Puts a little key symbol next to the ones you can use.
Load your game backups directly from the cheat menu.
Checks that your game versions match before loading.

Well replacing it did nothing but silence... but I just stumbled upon a password protected rar archive in the files.

have you tried
/dev_hdd0/game/CHET20000/USRDIR/st.DAT? there is also the lv.dat file there too.

however I'm interested in the bruteme.rar file in the same directory. it is password protected.

@ mad mike 96: Yeah, I seen them. They're pretty nasty looking inside. I also was wondering what that file(bruteme.rar) was there also. I also tried checking it out. Got nothing.

Thanks for this update. Didn't use the other cheat pkg but I'll try this out on Ninja Gaiden if it's on the cheat list which it probably is. I'll report back later today.

**Edit: Have the wrong version of Ninja Gaiden so I can't use the cheats for it...

Where do I go again to switch the payload? I'm sure it's in the mM settings but I haven't looked and I'm not sure which 'title' it's under. Since you already know, would you mind sharing its location?

@futuretime23 and the rest of the MK modders - this works with futuretime23's 1.05 patch. I did stick the clock at 90 and inf health/max power P1

I believe it is at the bottom of the settings column.

I believe their is support, but I do not know for sure. It has been a long time since I broke my original PS3usercheat dongle, and I have not installed this one yet... I was waiting for today's release before I did that

Code Unique 2/2.2 is rebranded multiMAN 2.0.0/3 with removed combos to switch display modes + bdemu (sc36/standard) so actually you don't have to start mM before CU for the payload. I'd say - very poor job with the 'rebranding'

makes sense. you still planning on trying to implement it into multiMAN? maybe try to get around the dongle limitation somehow?

just a warning, game number 244 completely locks the console when you press square or circle on it, not sure is this is a bug with the dongle or how he dumped the data.

also is there any guides on how to get sonic generations working on 3.55 with saving? i want to dump my game disc so i can apply the patch fix.

also how do we load cheats with installed games on hard drive now that it loads my games in the cheat game list? because if i load a game from my current installed multiman and then load up code unique it will load up my game list again...

any way to install 1.01 update on sonic generations and get the game working? the game won't run with cheats enabled and just stays on the sonic loading screen forever we need the 1.01 patch to work on 3,55 (1.01 patch is signed with 3.60 keys) but i think that is beyond impossible at this point.

I'd wait and see what skiller and the rest of the guys at the CMP forums does with this. They should be able to update it quite easily since alot of the codes were for lack of a better word stolen from them in the first place

about that rar file. Anybody else put 2 and 2 together by looking at the name?

bruteme.rar - brute force rar password recovery.

I'm looking for a good free program but if somebody's already set up to do it I'm sure everybody would like to see what's in there
