    RazorX, known for creating the 3.70 spoof task for PS3MFW and also releasing PS3Ultimate 3.55 CFW, is back with an updated version of PS3Ultimate CFW. This time bringing us a Black and a White edition, as well a 3.70 spoofed and unspoofed versions. You can find all the information for this new release below.


    Hey all, just to let you know I've did a quick update of my CFW for you all, and fixed a small bug I found in my old release, so here you go, enjoy..

    here is the updated coldboot.raf enjoy.. DIRECT DOWNLOAD | VIEW
    CFW Details:
    • Patched Lv1 Hypervisor
    • Patched Lv2 Kernel
    • Patched Package Installer
    • Patched Application Launcher
    • Added Homebrew Category (TV)
    • Added Retro Category (PSN)
    • Added Debug Category (Friend)
    • Added Package Manager (Friend)
    • Added Launch Game (Discless) (Game)
    • Cleaned Unwanted Icons From XMB
    • Replaced Coldboot (PS3Ultimate Coldboot)
    • Patched All self/sprx Files To Secure Privacy
    • Changed Cinavia DRM Effected Files
    • Changed Default "Air Paint" Theme (PS3Ultimate Theme)


    PS3Ultimate CFW Black Edition



    PS3Ultimate CFW White Edition



    Instructions aka 1-2-3 UFW (PS3 Ultimate 3.55 CFW):
    1. Format USB device FAT32
    2. Place PS3UPDAT.PUP in x:/PS3/UPDATE
    3. Install via XMB
    NOTE: If you are not on OFW 3.55, please download and install that first, the same way you would install NFW. You can find OFW 3.55 here.
    NOTE-2: With the versions that come SPOOFED, the only way to revert back to another FW is though Recovery Menu.

      Have the appropriate syscon checks been removed to allow this firmware to be used with a downgraded PS3?

      What's in the "Added Debug Category (Friend)" are there debug options or nothing in there?

      I believe only Package Manager, I think he wants to add debug options just hasn't figured out yet

      Oh ok thanks, Surprised no one has just used Rebugs cfw and changed it up like everyone is doing with Kmeaw cfw or whatever there using for the base I think that would be a welcomed cfw change.
      Would Rebugs cfw in PS3MFW work?

      EDIT: and before someone says well what would be done to rebugs cfw that already hasn't been done, well i don't know whatever people are doing to Kmeaw cfw I guess.

      I was actually thinking about this myself, but I'd have to make sure I got Team REBUG's permission first (I'll either look into it or suggest it to them)

      Edit: Also none of these changes are added to KMEAW, they all 'somewhat' start with OFW with PS3MFW patches

      i dont understand what does spoofing do? enable you to play newer games? gon on psn?

      IT does none of those things - it simply stops you from installing a higher firmware i.e. 3.70 OFW

      it would help if you would give information about what did not work (installation, starting, game booting,...). I guess you're missing BDEMU2. google and install it

      any other FW besides Waninkoko (it's outdated, the payloads old and un-updatable)

      it's KMEAW with bling basically, he replaced the PSN and friends categories with Retro and Debug also added Homebrew category (replaces TV if you have it) if you're new to the scene KMEAW might be the best place to start until you learn the scene

      That would be cool, using Rebugs cfw and doing the changes to the xmb menu icon names and such. I really hope this will be done if Rebug team don't give permission maybe make it privet for yourself but don't forget to shoot me a pm
