    PlayStation 3 Homebrew Developer Rain Fish aka JjKkYu has updated his 4.21 Eboot Resigner application as well as renaming the app to "TrueAncestor EBOOT". This app allows the resigning of 3.55 or decrypted EBOOT.BIN files for use with 4.XX CFW. This update contains the recently leaked keys as well as adding some improvements you can see below.

    Oh, my God, I hate rush update. Elf fix doesn't relate to sfo, mate. '33' may allow it working on 3.41. Script will be improved when i finish current work.

      So just to ask for the people who don't know (like me) if there was a game like Sims 2 Pets that need 4.XX FW I could use this to make it work on 3.55?

      No, the other way around. You take 3.55 signed eboots and sign them for 4.xx. It's right there in the article.

      This is mainly for home brew. I'm excited because I will probably now move on to 4.3 CFW because of this. Thanks!!

      Cool, my bad I missed that....have you decided on what 4.3 CFW you will go with, I am waiting to see if KMEAW will put if out, whenever his moves from 3.55 to 4.30 that is when I will make the move

      What's the easiest way to find the Content-ID, which is required to resign PSN eboots back up to 4.21?

      Sorry bro, but KMEAW left the scene like Geohot. But for sure, stay on 3.55. Coz 4.30 has still lot of bugs.

      Use PKG View 1.3. Open pkg file, and then Right Mouse Button and PKG PROPERTIES and there you have at the TOP of window ContentID :>

      @rexapi maby 4.30 have a bugs but Rogero 4.21 v1.09d for me works perfect.

      And for the author of app. it`s a App of the Month ! Big THX for that !

      for cw 4 30 i must select option 3, resign for 4.21 cf? it work with eboot true blue modified?

      So let me try to understand this...
      All of my True Blue and Scene Patched games(Like DUPLEX) can be modified over to work on 4.xx CFW by using this tool? It's basically resigning the patches made for 3.55 CFW for the new 4.xx CFW's? Is this a correct assumption? If so, then I'm very grateful and willing to move up. I just care about games and playability.

      Secluedly, TB can't, any other patches can. Btw, pretty sure all TB patches have been hacked already, so there is another version of them which doesn't require TB.

      One2thr456svn, Kmeaw didn't do anything groundbreaking, I sincerely don't understand why people want him to make a 4.30 CFW so much. His 3.55 CFW was quite basic, If he made a 4.30 CFW, It will probably be basic too, in other words, It will be exacly like the current 4.30 CFWs we have, making his CFW pointless. I would understand a hype for Rebug 4.30 CFW as It would have new features.

      Oh, btw guys, the news clearly states that this has keys up to 4.25, so I assume this won't help those on 4.30 CFW.

      tried this with DOA5 ... creates an Eboot fine but Black Screen on Load ... game asks to update to 1.02 though !

      I used my other BAT for SCEtool to try to reencrypt the elf and i get this
      [*] Loaded keysets.[*] Loaded loader curves.[*] Loaded vsh curves.[*] Error: Please specify an application version.

      DOA 5 might just make it worth it to upgrade finally Meh

      Thanks.. but what package file? There is none. There's just the files installed on the internal disk. No package files I can see, and those I installed from are long, long gone. Any other way?

      Actually from the screenshot it goes both ways. He added the keys to allow for resigning up to 4.25 eboots (which can now be decrypted down to 3.55) We didn't need all of the added keys to up-resign them (as pretty much everything works but the old 3.55 keys and we already had access in his 4.21 Resigner tool.)

      The options for those who cant read the screen shot are (not verbatim).

      0) Decrypt Eboot only
      1)Resign NPDRM EBOOT (for 4.21 CFW)
      2)Auto Re-sign disc backup eboot (for 4.21 CFW)
      3)Auto resign NPDRM eboot (DEX OFW)
      4)Auto Re-sign disc backup eboot (DEX OFW)
      5)Resign NPDRM Eboot (3.55 CFW)
      6)Auto Re-sign disc backup eboot (3.55 CFW)

      Okay so if we use this on all our eboots to make them work for 4.21 then what happens when we all move up to the next cfw like 5.xx, will we need to do it all over again, then again, then again....

      BTW thanks for making this tool, please don't think my question means I don't appreciate the work involved!

      kmeaw is just familiar to people now, its the name they connect to in their minds now because of using his cfw for so long. To all those people. Rogero has made a cfw that works flawlessly as far as I can tell. Also you can move back down from it without hardware so take the plunge, you won't regret it. Its only a few minutes of your time.

      I've found no bugs on Rogero4.21v1.09.

      You can resign any eboot up to 4.25 to work on 3.55, just use the number 6 option. I've already fixed skylanders spyro's adventure, skylanders giants, mlb 12 the show, madden 13, re operation racoon city, re 6, and biohazard chronicles hd collection. So far all of them worked for me on 3.55 after fixing them with this program, and I used the original eboot to fix them all. Also I used the the number 5 option to fix biohazard chronicles hd collection, I just extracted the pkgs with package view and had to put in the title ids. Then after it fixed the eboots I repacked the pkgs and installed both. (RE Umbrella Chronicles and RE Darkside Chronicles)

      No.

      Nothing is going to work with that TB garbage because it uses a completely different DRM scheme than official eboots.
