  • PS3 Media Server (PMS) v1.22.0 Released

    Today, the popular java PS3 Media Server has been updated to v1.22.0. The new update fixes many file compatibility bugs, particularly relating to MKV, MP4, and DVD ISO. Also included in this update is alphabetical file sorting, custom profiles, new renderers and more.

    Many file compatibility bugs fixed (particularly MKV, MP4 and DVD ISO)
    Help tab improved
    Improved alphabetical file sorting (old method is still there for those who liked it)
    Language fixes and updates
    Added custom profiles
    Added new renderers: Sony HX7, Bravia NX8, Panasonic Viera range
    Network traffic prioritised properly (thanks to bgm)
    48fps videos are now supported
    Various other fixes

      True... Defo the best media streamer, but lately getting a lot of stuttering even though I'm hard wired. Latest java installed and OS updated. This has become really annoying ...... Cfw3.55

      If I have multiman and install this will I be doubling up? because multiman has showtime

      nah, this is more for streaming from your computer/network device and you can stream online scripts. Like icefilms and tvlinks, and it plays with the ps3 default player (which i love). Personally I like the ps3 player allot better but since it's a media server it does sometimes have latency problems if your not hardwired. But it most works great, it's similar to playon media server just not as developed yet. Great app though!

      i just downloaded the windows version but i'm not sure how to use it, it decets my ps3. I'm mainly interested in internet streaming.
