Update: The Mac OS X version is now available. Subjunk announced the release of the latest official version of PS3 Media Server 1.51.0 for Windows and Linux, with an OS X version coming soon. You can use this application to stream media from your PC to your PS3, OFW and CFW alike; as well as many other devices. For more information about this application, be sure to visit their site

Updated ImageMagick Convert to 6.7.6
Updated MediaInfo to 0.7.54
More reliable selection of correct audio channels
Improved fast-forward and rewind support

Upgrade Notes:

For 1.23.0 and above:

Just uninstall the older version and install newer one

For versions prior to 1.23.0:

To retain your old settings you may have to copy your old config file/s to a new directory.
To find out where the new directory is on your computer, run the program and go to the Traces tab and look on the 14th line, the line that says "Profile directory:", that is the folder your config files should be saved now.
If you use the "media library / cache" option you should reset it.

I cant believe after months since the last PMS release theres only few bug fixes.
Ive found Serviio Media Server which works so well with PS3, i get no errors and loads so much faster. They have now included live streaming and have so much XBMC/Boxee like plugin systems so you can watch iPlayer/HULU and soo much more

I found it by accident reading Redmond Pie article - Google "Redmond Pie Serviio"

Its free and its made in Java too
I dont get any missing endings either

Did not know about that Serviio Media Server, i had always used ps3 media server because of srt files, does serviio load srt (language) files too?

Forget the question, already found the answer on Serviio Features Page, but thank you anyway cause this is way better than ps3 media server
