PS3 IRC Client for CFW 3.41/3.55

Developer and member of PS3Hax, samson, has released PS3 IRC Client for CFW 3.41/3.55, a new homebrew program for our jailbroken PS3 consoles. The application has been tested on Rebug, but should work with others too. PS3Hax member daveyp187 has released a WT package for those interested. Also included is a link to the PS3Hax official IRC channel, as well as samson's PS3 Messenger IRC channel.

There are those who surf the web on their PS3s. Now they can also enjoy IRC.

when he says that it was tested on rebug does he mean the 3.66 debug ofw?????

someone should make this like mirc were u can also download files with it or make a torrent app or something similar would be great..

That has also been suggested in the past. I have heard of users using file programs servers like fileserve or something and download their homebrew to their PS3 also!

This is cool. I don't see myself using my PS3 to chat exclusively, but this would be great for integration into other software. Is this open source?
