DEX in general with some work allows you to play 3.6+ games (up to 4 at a time) or boot original 3.6+ games at your hearts content. As for this tool I have no idea what it does as I do not have a DEX console.

These are the same tools that Sony sends to people with official debug units (ie, game review magazines/websites) that allows them to create ISOs that are burnable or an .emu that's loadable via bd emu HDD.

It seems the function of this leak was mentioned in the first paragraph of the first post, and if you still wondering its explained extensively in the readme, and if you are still having trouble with that theres even and pdf (including pictures) so theres no excuse.

it's hard to release an official SDK as it is illegal which is why many developers try to use psl1ght. Most sites wouldn't post a link to the official sdk

True, but we're not hosting it. It's hosted on PS3 Scene Files. I could remove the link if you like and just let people go on a hunt for it

It seems to be the ps3gen 3.30 is nearly the same as the last version but take a look in the second file it has a few new nice features
