TrueIceCold, has released PS3 Game Updater 1.41, an update to his game patch finding application. The new releases offers us stability fixes, new collapse/expand buttons, a bug fix of update links not exporting properly, and more.

+ Added “Collapse/Expand” button to expand all updates.
+ Downloading an update will also show progress in the game column itself, so no need to expand it
+ Added new file format for saving updates: “GAMEID – GAMENAME – VERSION.pkg”
+ Fixed the bug of update links not exported correctly
+ Stability fixes

Note: Application tested on:
Windows XP 32Bit + .NET 3.0 installed
Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit + .NET 3.0 installed
Windows Vista 32Bit Home Premium

Damn, new toys!!!!

Just finished an MFW with PS3MFW.
Setting up a custom themes builder right now...........

And now this!

Woohooooo!!!

Damn.......I just realized that I don't have 3D hardware in this old laptop.
Can't "Test Drive" any new themes I build until I get back home to the desktop this coming week.

Oh well, about to d/l the game updater and give it a run for a while!

Damn, I love new toys!

Thx for this app

Think i've found a bug:

The new expand/collapse all buttons don't move when the main window is resized, they just stay fixed in the initial position. When maximizing the application the buttons are in the middle of the listview

Should be fairly easy fix for the dev.

I didn't update,it was my brother,cuz he wanted to play black ops(Ive learned the lesson and always hide the controller from him)

Why hide the controller from him now?
The damage has been done already!
I've seen you post this several times now (the part about hiding the controller) and it is getting rather tiresome.

In 20 years (once you've matured quite a bit (hopefully)) you should be able to look back at all the fun times you and the baby bro had playing games together instead of still holding a grudge against him.

Trust me, it's not that big of a deal.
Hell, you and he could get together and go shovel snow, mow lawns (whatever your weather dictates), pick up aluminum cans, paint curb signs............etc, etc, etc........

Make enough money to go buy a used system that has not been updated and hack the snot out of it together.

Sorry to sound like a parent (I'm sure that I am EASILY old enough to be your father) but Christ.........get over it and enjoy what you have right now!!!!!

If/when a break happens for 3.56...............IT WILL BE ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!!!!!!

Yes, me too. I´m on 3.55 now but i´m scared if my brother or someone (or sony) automatically updates to 3.56.

Hackers always find a way, but they are taking longer with that firm. I wonder if it is about sony´s lawsuit actions.

Its a little suspicious because the title says Kmeaw but the text says Wutangrza:

Still not working for me scince your update to 1.2 version, the initial release works flawlessly, the other versions out there directly crashes. its really annoying WINXP SP3 + .NET

This is obviously _FAKE_, do not attempt to use it or even download any files, it is attempting to make money out of you filling in the surveys etc. to download the individual files.

At best, you'll be where you are now, at worst you'll end up with a bricked/stuck on 3.56 PS3

Avoid.

And yeah,I think im gonna let my brother play with the ps3 again even tho its useless now since I won't accept the new user agreement,and he plays cod online all the time lol.

Oh don't worry, I wasn't planning on changing, I'm fine where I am but for those who are on 3.56 already, I just posted it for them if it was real.

That's almost as mean as I was!!!!

I know it sucks when you are young and lose something like that.
When my big sister broke the joystick for our Atari 2600 I thought I was going to die right then!!!!!

Hey, at least we could still use the other one and just take turns playing single player stuff.
We also had the paddles so we could "duke it out" with Pong!!!

It just comes down to patience.

Hopefully something will show up soon.

Yes, I do empathize with ace. It just gets annoying sometimes.
