PS3 Game Updater 1.2 - With FTP Support

This program will scan you backed up games folder (On your computer, or PS3 via FTP), show details about each game, and give you the option to download updates for your games, all at once by your choice (deselect the checkboxes on the left to remove a game from the update list).

I've added some of the features users asked me to, hope you like it as well.

+ Added exporting list to csv file.

+ Fully already downloaded updated will be skipped.

+ Added FTP scan support (Experimental). Switch to "PS3 FTP" from the menu. The application will scan the directory of your choice for the games installed, and return a list, just like HDD scan. To edit locations of the games folder, edit the settings.ini. Edit "FTPLocations" parameter, each location seperated by a ",". Updates downloaded through FTP scan will be saved under the "PS3 Game Updater Updates (FTP Scan)" in the aplication directory.

* Note: this process could take a while, depending on the amount of sub-directories of your games directory.

+ Added shortcuts:
F1 - About
F2 - Settings
Ctrl+Shift+S - Export as csv

+ minor and not-so-minor bug fixes.

Use the "Settings" window to save your last used folder, open folder after downloading all updates, and determine whether to save the updates into 1 big folder, or put each update in its game folder.

+ Added Download speed indicator.

+ Downloading now shows the version of the donwloaded update.

+ Minor GUI improvements.

Funny I was just sitting here using version 1.1 download all the updates for Little Big Planet and bam 1.2, this is a really cool program big ups to you for this one

Are you talking about FTP games list? I wrote in the changelog how to add more paths in there.

No. no.. For example I keep my backups at 3 partitions:
D:\PS3Back_latest
E:\PS3_mybrothers
F:\PS3_mine

each time I would like to update them all I need to set different dir and fetch games list, then update them. I would like to have them all together (except FTP, or maybe some checkbox with "additionally download ftp list" would be fine).

hm... this feature is not very hight in my todo list, I've got some more "interesting" features
FAT32 compatibility (check for larger than 4GB files), all versions downloads instead of the latest one, and all kinds of updates (QA, release, RC etc)

Hey, how long does it take to fetch the games list via ftp for you guys? it's taking forever for me :/

edit: switched from Multiman ftp to blackbox ftp and works fine now

2bad... personally I do not need FTP support and all other stuff... as well as fat32 compatibility... got 500 GB HDD inside PS3. Btw... who needs all the updates except the latest one?

ps. Save updates in "Each Game Folder" doesn't work since the beggining. All updates are still kept in the "PS3 Game Updater Updates".

Yes but a new folder is created under each game

No it's not. There is only one per selected dir, for example:
d:\PS3_Backups\BCES0000
d:\PS3_Backups\BCES0001
d:\PS3_Backups\BCES0002
d:\PS3_Backups\BCES0003
d:\PS3_Backups\PS3 Game Updater Updates

it doesn't matter what's selected at the options. I saw at ini file there is a "SaveUpdatesIn=Respective" (or 'Root' value). Anyway... it's always downloading to the same dir.
my os: Win7 x64 pro

Great Software. Thank you ...

But i have a feature request. Please add an Option that the Filename of the Update is not so cryptic anymore. Its hard to find the right update over the BCESxxxxxNamexxxxxx. My suggestion is, that the NAME_Version.pkg is enough.

this is a great app - thank you
small thing - i have to use foldersizes to export a list of folders (BLES00200) and size in Gb, in order for excel to crossref your CSV export with, so i can get teh sizeof each game.
Any chance of exporting size in Gb as well as all the other info?
