PS3 Exploit Unveiling Pushed Back to Wednesday

We originally reported here, that a number of PS3 exploits, would be unveiled this Tuesday, at the 27th Chaos Communication Congress. The exploits are to be unveiled by console hackers, bushing, sven, and marcan, during a one hour seminar. Unfortunately, the new PS3 exploits will have to wait a bit longer to be unveiled. We've discovered, that the console hacking seminar has been pushed back a day, and will now be held on Wednesday, 4pm local Berlin time/10am Eastern Standard Time. Various sources, have eluded that this will be a very ground breaking day for PS3 users. It should be something you will not want to miss witnessing.

Introduction

Like the previous years a bunch of console hackers, joined by some of the iPhone Dev Team's members, are getting together at 27C3. We hope to have some table space at the Hackcenter to set up our consoles, show off our hacks, and teach people about them!

The topic extends to many aspects of video game consoles, both software and hardware. This includes breaking the security, using homebrew software, modifying their existing software, hardware modifications and improvements, using custom hardware peripherals with consoles, using console peripherals with custom hardware, and anything else that's related to video game consoles. A lot of what goes on behind the scenes only happens once or twice, so here's your chance to learn what it really means to hack a game console, hands-on.

We've pretty much conquered the Wii since last year and are currently looking on to the Nintendo DSi and the PlayStation 3. If you always wanted to learn how the Wii's security was broken using a pair of tweezers, or how to reverse engineer the Wii Remote's extension encryption and make your own, you might want to stop by and say hi

We'll be presenting a talk on recent console security, including a large portion devoted to recent developments about the PS3, so stay tuned!

Also the Fail0verflow team is looking forward to having lots of fun at the CTF event again this year (if applicable)!

If you don't know how to use "elude" or "allude" in a sentence, please don't use either.

I wouldn't normally bother typing this but since it had already been mentioned "alluded" is correct - it means to hint at or suggest

It sounds like there will be some very interesting news announced at the seminar. Just read in another article "Wednesday is the day you guys will really be blown away."...perhaps they already have CFW!!!

no its going to be one of those mind **** things like your ps3 isnt really a ps3 its half autobot half ps2
