The firmware that you create and modify debug options enabled take, I have all minimum. At the moment these are the ones that are built:

* Install Packages Files
* app_home/PS3_GAME/
* Title Store Preview (InGame) (Added on 09/07/2011)
* Title Preview Store (Store) (Added on 09/07/2011)


I wanted to share with you CFW early yet to give me ideas and comments and stuff.

For now equals that of KaKaRoToKS, as this phase Beta and very green for now installed demos from Install Package Files and run like yours, has taken me days to finish because I have little free time.

I have only made the version 3.41 , also the hare of 3.55 and 3.15 if it can be (for those who are still in that version).

Tomorrow I will put the download link if you want to leaf through and tinker with, I will add new features like the Debug Options in Settings.

Right now I leave it installed to mess with homebrew signed and improve your firmware, and also edit the Game OS.

I repeat: DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU GET HOMEBREW OR BACKUPS.

If anyone wants to work and know programming, you can contact me if you want. Thanks to all who have supported me to keep trying.

Remember: STILL CAN NOT LOAD OR BACKUPS WITH ANY HOMEBREW FIRMWARE OR MINE, OR ANYONE OR Kakarot, PATIENCE.

Those who try to comment on whether any CFW installs fine and others I can not install because I'm at 3.41 and lost the support of the dongles.

How about some group create a custom firmware that does what everyone wants (ok, 99.9 percent of the people). Maybe a group can step up and give us what we want...

1. CFW with built in Jailbreak
2. Based on 3.55 if possible
3. Ability to install any homebrew (signed or not)
4. Ability to run backups... install manager of our choice.
5. Ability to run otherOS.

You get the idea. Basically everything that those of us are doing right now with a JB device and our 3.41 console.

Everything else, albeit may be good progress for the coders, but is a waste of time for everyone else.

Releasing these CFW's that don't do the above noted things are sorta a waste of time really.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this... but you know... "freedom of speech". I for one am getting tired of reading these news announcements of "CFW 3.55 Jailbreak", when the release couldn't be further from the truth...

I'm just asking myself with all this CFW.
Why not remove the check that checks if you're installing older version of OS. So no need for downgrade anymore.

This is how I mean : Now I have original 3.41. Upgrade to 3.55 CFW and this firmware will let me install 3.41. Just like through normal update process.
No need for downgrade and losing all the data on HDD.

Is this possible in CFW ?

Move the pkg file to your USB stick (FIRST INSTALL GEOHOT'S CFW).
In the Game menu, go to *Install Package Files. You will see the pkg there (snes9x.pkg). Just install it.

The roms you can put in some folder in the USB stick.
