PSX-SCENE Forum Discussion for Sony PlayStation/PsOne/PS2/PS3/PSP/PS VITA
  • PS3 3.60 Keys Leaked

First it seemed as if it was just a rumor or perhaps fake. But euss has confirmed that they are indeed real. The day I'm sure all of you have been waiting for. The release of some PlayStation 3 keys (lv1ldr, lv2ldr, isoldr, appldr) have been leaked to the masses allowing you to patch 65 additional games. You will need a few tools in order to patch the SFO of your games. Or not. Word is Rogero says a new custom firmware will be made available. So those of you who don't want to decrypt and encrypt files should just wait a little longer.

    eussNL Comments:
If you post keys in a random topic, you will fast enough be
marked as a troll. When posting keys, please do it in proper
format, so it can be easily debunked/proven

    KaKaRoTo Comments:
    3.60 keys Update:

Q: recently 3.60 keys surfaced (lv1ldr, lv2ldr, isoldr, appldr), what does this mean for this release and the future?
A: That is actually a multiparted answer:

Now that several binairies (Iso module + CoreOS minus the loaders that are inside lv0) can be decrypted, more investigation can be done in them, which give a new boost in (unrelated to the HeN) other targets, like:
    • Hardwareless downgrades : Downgrading with PSgrade Dongle (lv1.self)
    • QA Flagging / systemtokens (spu_token_processor.self) and usertokens (spu_utoken_processor.self)
    • PS2 compatibility (mc_iso_spu_module.self , me_iso_for_ps2emu.self , sv_iso_for_ps2emu.self)
    • Getting per_console_root_key_1 / EID_root_key on 3.56+/slim3K (lv1.self , aim_spu_module.self)
    • Backsigning applications for <=3.55 and patch sys_proc_param_version (appldr.self , lv2_kernel.self)

Q: So does this mean a future release would be sooner?
A: Only God knows But it can also be that because of the above, it would become meaningless/surpassed by better progress. So lets all hope for the best
I will be adding to this article as I learn more. Just wanted to rush this news to you asap.

UPDATE: Use Deank's EBOOT Fix Tool 0.5 to convert the EBOOTS for you. Just download the keys add them to EBOOT Fix Tool's ps3 folder. (Download below includes the keys, so no need to download them unless using other methods)

Have in mind that some games (like Sniper Ghost Warrior) have additional .self/.sprx files and it is better to use ebootFIX by dragging the PS3_GAME folder to it - it will find and fix all necessary files. If you use ebootMOD you'll have to search for these files yourself and 'fix' them one by one.
    UPDATE 2: Another Method
    Use SCETool to Decrypt a PS3 3.60 EBOOT.BIN File:
For those of you who want to decrypt a 3.60 EBOOT.BIN use scetool. Download scetool_0.2.7.zip unzip it to C:\scetool. Create a new folder inside scetool and name it data and download these files here:

    1. keys: ps3devwiki.com/files/devtools/scetool/data/keys
    2. ldr_curves: ps3devwiki.com/files/devtools/scetool/data/ldr_curves
    3. vsh_curves: ps3devwiki.com/files/devtools/scetool/data/vsh_curves

Put them inside data folder. Put your EBOOT.BIN file in scetool folder. Go to start - run - cmd and cd to the folder were scetool is. For example "cd C:\scetool". Then type this command to decrypt the EBOOT.BIN: "scetool -d EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF" and use this one to encrypt it to 3.41: C:\scetool>scetool -0=SELF -5=APP -6=0003004100000000 -e EBOOT.elf EBOOT.BIN

lol, well yes there is that also - I've just got the coffee on the go, booted up the ps3 and now going through my back catalog of games sorting out the eboots

productive day today I feel even though there's plenty of other things I should actually be doing, lol

Bad wording from me, sorry. What i ment is that there wasnt a static number/key inside the PS3 that was found. The ECDSA crypto uses different of things in it's formula. One of the things are suppose to be random, but it wasnt. Because of this, it was possible to use mathematic formulas to calculate the keys.

      Awesome news
Just wondering though; do the new fixes also work on 3.41? Or is it for 3.55 CFW only?

waw, what a news, PS3 scene really exploded in the last weeks. so, finally, i can play Catherine US (BLUS30428) on my Linux-enabled 3.55CFW, fixing the EBOOT with the new 3.60 keys was as easy as simple drag&drop. thank you everyone that made it possible and i mean not only about 3.60 keys, but all the great developers releasing useful tools and homebrew too.

Ok, I'm not exactly new to this so am I just being a complete moron here?
(if I am, please treat me as such, lol)

had a quick look through the pastie to see which games eboots could be fixed and my eye caught deus ex straight away,
couldnt be bothered to unhook my external from the ps3 so ftp'd striaght in grabbed the eboot and then used it with the mod tool

      ..... squat!

just tried taking the external out to dump the whole folder into ebootfix and got this error in cmd...

      self_decrypt_header failed
perror: no such file or directory
      self_decrypt_header failed
perror: no such file or directory

then make_self_npdrm. exe has stopped working error in windows

When new cfw is released, in all likely it will still be 3.41 or 3.55 based, but will include the keys for 3.60 so that games up to 3.60 can be played.

I'm sure someone will also create a .pkg file you can install on current 3.41/3.55 that just loads in the 3.60 keys(i'd guess within the next couple days if its not out somewhere already).

To be precise, there are actually two variables in one equation, they being related to each other via the same equation. If one is known the other would be calculated such that both the variables (points) lay on an elliptical curve. Sony, unknowingly, fixed one on them i.e., made one of them constant. The equation being already known and cracking the first fixed variable (or rather a 'constant'), developers were able to find the other variable. The two variables always exactly relate to each other for all the game releases SONY had made until it was corrected in 3.56.

maybe your tools don't see 3.60 keys as installed or that EBOOT uses something special like NPDRM and you need "ps3tools-npdrm-v3" for that - i'm far from being expert and those are just wild guesses, but it works like a charm here, i haven't tried the game you mentioned though.

      I need some help here.
I'm trying to patch Rocksmith BLUS30670 (it's not on the compatibility list but if PES 2012 works, this should work too, they were released less than a month apart) and I get the make_self_npdrm stopped working error. The program creates the folders and so but they are empty without any eboot. What am I doing wrong?

Just out of curiosity which game(s) have you tried thus far?
Just tried another 3 different games and all have the same error so unless I've got particularly bad luck today it cant just be that game
although I've also just got a mw3 fix pkg which I installed on the ps3 straight away and that's not working either

I'm having a bad day today, lol

correct me if i'm wrong but normally when you get this error, you are trying to decrypt a game that has 3.60+ keys needed (like standard PES 2012)

And I got a small list with eboots ready up @PS3SF

      Dark Souls (BLES01402)
      Call Of Duty MW3 (BLUS30838)
      Resistance 3 BCES001118
      Agarest War Zero (BLUS30686)
      Bleach Soul Ignition (BCJS30077)
      Dirt 3
      F.E.A.R. 3 (BLES00963)
      Lego Pirates of The Caribbean
      Pro Evolution Soccer 12 (BLUS30805)
      Captain America
      Green Lantarn
      Shadows Of The Damned

Not all tested and confirmed but i found them at different sources and rehosted them.
