  • PS Vita News: Remote Play via CFW 3.55 - RDR, Alice, MK9 & Batman

    Since the release of the PS Vita the remote play feature does not work for most games which we hope a firmware update or game patch from the developers will rectify. Some videos by homer49 have surfaced on YouTube showing Red Dead Redemption, Alice Madness Returns, Mortal Kombat 9 and Batman: Arkham Asylum playing via remote play on the PS Vita. A rough translation states that a PlayStation 3 with custom firmware 3.55 is required, however prior to the translate there is a reference to multiMAN as you will see in the quote below. This suggests that configuring the PS Vita as a mobile allows the running of backups via multiMAN remotely.

      As for me I play only at home... So... As for me there is no difference between playing games on PSV or PS3... The other thing is that if you do not own PS3 then it is cool to have PSV to make up for it.

      how delightful ive asked about this on the forums and now here goes a newsbit to confirm that it indeed is an option for cfw users........ Now it would be great to remoteplay some ps3 emus

      i thought the vita had 2 buttons less than the ps3 so surely it will be useless for some games
