  • Update: PS Vita 3.18: Zettai Hero Project Exploit Released

Following the release reported yesterday comes another. This one is by developer KanadeEngel and improved by developers 173210 and qwikrazor87. The exploit files released so far is for Japanese region but European and United States versions will follow. The game, as the title reads, is Zettai Hero Project (aka Z.H.P) and comes with a warning to those who might want to update to use this exploit. As mentioned by developer The Z, via wololo, this release is regarded as experimental since it does not run all homebrews. So the onus is on you should you buy the game to use said exploit. Don't come crying later should it not live up to your currently used exploits standards. The game is also reported to run TN-V in the future should a kernel exploit be released for firmware 3.18 but again don't hold your breath.

    Update 2: 11/08/2014
More from The Z via his Twitter feed. So far EU & JP of the Z.H.P game have been removed from purchase. If you try to do so you will be met with the following message "You are not eligible to buy or download this title".

However North America is still available for now. but this could change in minutes/hours.

    Update 1: 11/08/2014
An update by developer The Z. He mentions that there has been some improvements to Z.H.P VHBL BUT this info/update is still BETA and for Japanese ONLY. (Until Europe & North American versions gets released.)

    About: Zettai Hero Project Exploit
The game is called Zettai Hero Project (Z.H.P.), it is ~600 MB in size and is available in the European, North American, Japanese and various other Asian PSN Stores. It costs ~15€ / ~20$ and can be exploited at firmware 3.18.

It is important to note that this was initially thought to be as an "potentional future TN-V loader", and not as a VHBL, since we thought this is unable to run the VHBL properly. This game IS able to load TN-V, WHEN someone releases a kernel mode exploit for this game. No kernel exploit, no TN-V for 3.18.

    Now about the VHBL:

It is currently highly experimental and can barely run Homebrews, some... Well, a few homebrews are running, and the above video should be taken as a "Proof of Concept" video. It is your decision, and ONLY your decision if you are buying this game or not. Be sure that buying the game does NOT entitle you to anything in terms of the VHBL (improvements of it running more/better homebrews).

The exploit was found and written by KanadeEngel. It was improved by qwikrazor87 (who else?) and by japanese developer 173210. The exploit files for the EU and North American version will be released pretty soon~ish. The currently available japanese exploit files are experimental, so expect an improved release in the future.

Greetings KanadeEngel, Zett, qwikrazor87 and co.

So, if i do this exploit, will i still be able to access online features? Can I update it once i still have the exploit.

For some reason I couldn't find it on the web store in the US store by the search. I found it by going to the PSP section then sorting the list alphabetically. Even typing in the exact name Z.H.P. that the store lists in the search doesn't work either so it looks like you gotta go the browse and sort method to find it. The game runs for $20 in the US which is a little high for a halfbyte loader especially one that has a lot of issues

No, if you do an exploit you can't update your firmware past what it's designed/released for. That means no PSN features, but you would still be able to use basic web functions. Basically anything that requires you to sign in can't be used

Cool thanks mate. I just had a look on us psn and like you said I found it after sorting but it's definitely not on the au store. I don't really like how long it takes to start the exploit anyway, coming from Numblast, but who's to say future exploits will be any better. Not too big a deal but it's great to have. I just updated from 3.01 for ps4 remote play and I don't regret it.

I'm on the edge about getting it. I think it's a little high especially for a game that I think is horrible to start with, but all the old exploits I had I got for between 2 and 10 dollars so maybe I'm just spoiled . I just find it confusing that they say that they got TN-V working on it, but are only releasing VHBL files and telling people to wait on a kernel release. Well, if you had TN-V working, then obviously you had a kernel exploit running so why not just release it, or say it will definitely be released at some point in the future if it still needs work instead of beating around the bush telling people it may or may not happen. I just think the game is too expensive to buy as a "just in case" kind of thing in case they "might" release the kernel exploit for it.

@BahumatLord Yes some Dev's got access to qwikrazor87 and acid_snake kernel exploit so we can't release it if the creator do not want that

No, I understand that nobody can (or at least should) release something that's not their work without permission, but what I don't understand is why it was even mentioned that it does work if nobody can say for sure if it is going to be released or not. It just creates confusion. For example, should I buy this game only to find out it never gets TN-V and am basically stuck with a very expensive and not fully working VHBL that I would never use or would it be better to wait and see if another game exploit gets released the next time there's a kernel exploit game announced - that is if there's going to be another kernel exploit game released in the near future at all.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but isn't anybody else tired of the whole "look what I have and you don't" mentality that plagues the different scenes? Maybe that wasn't the intention here, but that's how it comes across. If there's no definite answer on whether TN-V is going to be released for this game, then maybe it would have been better to just keep quiet about it and do this as a VHBL only release

      Anyway, my 2 cents

it was my plan to release it as VHBL only, we report only that it is possible to run a eCFW with it like 98% from all released usermode exploits but i see the noobs understand it completely wrong

Yeah I'm the same I got about 5 exploit games iirc since the first vhbl because they were so cheap. Since it's a not-fully-working vhbl release, and $20, it probably would have been better to release it when the next ecfw released because the more usermodes that are released at that time the better for all of us, plus there's bound to be more FW updates before the next ecfw and if you get this game you'll be stuck on 3.18.
It's up to the dev who found/made it though and there will be people who want it.

I think it's fairly clear. Not sure where the confusion would be.

Not sure where the confusion lies. $20 i'm sorry is not expensive these days. Not like the DEV set the price of the game.. If you do not like the exploit bypass it and move on. It's really that simple.

This is why you and I can't get along. Nobody asked you. I wasn't being shitty with anyone, yet you feel the need to try to be smug with me about the price of the game. And yes, 20 dollars is expensive for a game that I, personally, think is a bad game. 20 dollars for a VHBL only game that I never play is expensive. 20 dollars for a TN-V game whether it gets played or not isn't all that bad because you can do more with it. And just an FYI I already bought the game before you decided to stick your nose in but I do feel it needs to be explained better for people new to this. This isn't my first exploit purchase so I already know how it works but who are you to judge one way or the other what someone believes to be an overpriced game?

Now I'm gonna be shitty since you feel the need to do it with me when nobody was even talking to you or even remotely being rude to anyone on here so there was no need for you to step in and try to throw some weight around. If you don't like my posts, don't read them. Bypass them and move on. It's really that simple.

Go ahead and ban me for calling you on being a prick for the 100th time to me but I'll be damned if I'm gonna let you talk shit to me for no reason. Last time I checked this was a discussion board where people were free to discuss whatever they wanted as long as it was on topic

I said $20 is not expensive (which is my opinion) and i said there is plenty of warnings there. Which is fact but could be opinion based as well.

So i never addressed anything to you, now yes your comments can into play on my reply but was not completely directed to you.So i was not talking shit on you but simply stating my opinion, because as you say this is a discussion board. You do need to check your attitude..

Don't talk to me like I'm stupid. Of course you were addressing me since the only 2 people that were talking about any of this were me and the guy that shared the exploit. Obviously you weren't talking to him so stop being a condescending little tool every chance you get to me. And no, I don't need to check my attitude. You need to check your tone when talking to people who haven't broken any of the site's rules.

That's all I have to say to you. I'm tired of butting heads with you every time I make a post on here. Don't respond to me. Don't respond to any of my posts. If you have an issue with me, then either man up and ban me or go through someone else. I have zero respect for you with the way you try to run the whole scene and anybody that doesn't think your way is wrong
