PrBoom - DOOM PS3 Port Released

RoboHobo, famous for his work on the Mednafen emulator, has released a port of the popular PC game Doom. His port is known as PrBoom and features saving, loading, music, and minimally tested netplay. The release arrives in very playable form but it isn't without it's own issues, which mainly relate to configuration.

Here is the first release of PrBoom for the playstation 3. I’ve pasted the readme below. This release isn’t without it’s issues, though they mostly rest in configuring. Game play should be quite smooth, most features you would expect are implemented (eg saving, loading, music, minimally tested netplay). Any comments on how you would like to see this improved are welcomed.

Runs really well, remember to put your wads in /dev_hdd0/game/HBDM90000/USRDIR/wad.

Sound effects seem different, but that might have been the wad file I was using.

I'll wait until he gets it running at 100% meaning? No issues with the configuration. Other then that? This looks nice.

If you need main WAD file and don't like warez then you can try it out just with Doom 1 shareware WAD which has one full episode. It can be downloaded from many public sites.

That doom is built with Sony's SDK. I.e. it is warez itself
