Megan and Eric Kellermeyer took it upon themselves to name their newborn, after the main character of Skyrim,
Dovakhlin. With that being said, the mom and pop had entered a competition hosted by Bethesda software works, stating that if a child was born on the same day as the release of
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, to name their child after the main character of the game, that is
Dovakhlin. The winning prize was a
life time supply of games that were released by Bethesda Softworks. However,
no family member had objected to the name that was given to the baby, as well as
Megan's mom stating it "being cool". Here is a quoted statement from the mother's blog.
We've toyed with Dovahklin and the ramifications of naming a child that name, and that name being based on a video game character (however awesome), and what impact that would have on him. But the more I thought of it, the more I settled on Dovahklin, contest or no. It helps that we told all our friends and family and very few are opposed to the idea. My mom thought it was neat! He will have a perfectly normal and common middle name if the first name becomes too much for him or us or we just want to call him a nickname
We see the baby's full name now to be
