Paintown 3.6.0 Released

Here is something I have not seen for a while. It seems an update of Paintown managed to slip through my fingers. This update covers the usual bug fixes, smoother pixels and added zip/seven zip support. Also note that those running 3.55 DEX can also enjoy this game.

Changelog:

All:

Added XBR and HQX scaling algorithms to smooth out pixels at higher window sizes
Can load data from .zip and .7z files

Mugen:

Fixed many bugs
Projectiles work
Helpers work

Looks like this managed to slop through everyone's fingers. As far as I know, you are the first one on the PS3 scene to report this news.

where can you get character downloads and how would you apply them? if it's in the readme, just tell me. i've had some interest in this and i've seen a few good fights on youtube with it. so, i might get it and those are the main questions i have.

Also is anyone else having trouble with mugen? with this update im not even able to select any of the modes in mugen mode

oh, i lose a little more interest with that mode gone. i'd love to have a venom vs goku fight or something if it was possible :P

yea maybe there is a fix I tried checking the config files of older version to try an see if they had disable support for the ps3 mugen version but no luck i mean u can move up and down on the mode select screen but cant select them

I don't think so just try it out and if it doesnt just use a resigning tool to resign the eboot simple as that
