  • Open Manager v2.1-2 Released: Allows Direct Boot From XMB

    A new version of Open Manager was released today and it allows direct boot from XMB,to use it you'll need to install each of the 30 different Open Manager v2.1 I-2 PKG files to have the games show up on the list, each one representing a different game ID . The second part of the release is Open Manager v2.1 J-2, which includes various fixes (see changelog below).

    Open Manager v2.1 I-2 mod:
    - Signed I-2 REV eboot to work on Waninkoko custom firmware

    Open Manager v2.1 J-2 REV (roughly translated):
    - Fixed That always ask where to install the games in internal disk to start the program, now is the first time configuration Install That is OM.
    - Patching Off the FTP, because it be possible to modify the eboot encrypted and not directly, Starting from now be Full FTP, all units being watched.
    - PKG including both, both of Signed GeoHot 3.55 to 3.41 Debug mode and with CFW 3.55 Dongle Waninkoko
    - Now if we set as an external disk drive game data to restart the OM is not asking Set the installation path backup (only 3.41 and dongle hermes v3 / 4)
    Warning:Only for use with 3.41 CFW/Dongles & Waninkoko v2
    (Hopefully will be ported to kmeaw)

      And someone on another post was asking why people were still on 3.41?

      Couldn't install for me on waninkoko v2.

      It can work with 3.55 (apparently), there is a 3.55 package included in the rar aswell as one for 3.41.

      Here's the 4mb download for the 3.55 .pkg, if someone wants to just see if it installs for them without having to wait half an hour for the big rar to download.

      There is no kmeaw for now ,, maybe in the future

      I would like to see you pick up English as a second language and surpass this users fluency. Also, I'm pretty sure they meant to say "There is no Kmeaw [version] for now,, maybe [there will be] in the future." I can see how extremely confusing the OP was. Moving on, it would be nice to see this [feature] added to Rogero Manager.

      Even if they did say in the exact words, "There is no Kmeaw version for now,, maybe there will be in the future." it's still the same as "Only for use with 3.41 CFW/Dongles & Waninkoko v2(Hopefully will be ported to kmeaw)"
      I didn't mean to be a ****, I was actually trying to say it politely to prevent the guy getting flamed at by someone not considering English probably isn't his first language.
      I mentioned his English to back him up, I know it'd be a pain in the *** to learn as a second language.

      Now can we get someone testing this for 3.55?

      Can someone elaborate how the "enables direct launch from XMB" is realized?
      Does it cover only 30 games?
      If we are talking about signed pkg files for those games, what does it have to do with openmanager?

      wow this is something i wanted for a long time, I can't wait to try it out. would be a nice feature for multiMAN. since it only has it for 30 games i wonder if its possible to change the name of the pkg one digit up to add more games. i have close to 50 games. i guess i'll find out lol.

      Why would anyone want 30 or more Icons on the XMB? It's cleaner to just go into the manager and run whatever game you want to play.

      i would just make all the ps3 games in a folder named ps3 games >.>

      Either way you look at it, it's going to be cluttered. I haven't seen a way to alphabetize or sort by category within a BM and at least with it being on the XMB you can create specific folder for each genre of games to go into.

      WELLL I HAVE FIND WAY TO REMOVE IT, use the awesomefile manager and delet the foldrs on hdd, if y cant delet it, just rename tham to other name and done..
