Official fuckPsn 0.6 with Consoleid Hiding Released

We apologize for previously reporting that ****PSN 0.6 had been released. That version was not official and many users complained it did not work. Drizzt has officially released ****PSN 0.6 today, which is fully working and does hide your ConsoleID. If you previously downloaded 0.6 from our last article, we suggest you delete it and get this new version here.

Download: ****Psn-v0.6.exe (1.66 MB)

The official ****Psn v0.6 is released.

That version does not send consoleid on PSN servers when you connect, so you are quite anonymous!

****PSN is a simple SSL proxy, used to spoof your PSN version and re-enable PSN access for your console.

Please do not download that version that is no official and it does not work.

Prerequisites

CA27.cer, dev_blind.pkg, ****Psn-v0.6.exe from here
OpenPS3FTP v1.3 or later, you can download 1.5 from here

ChangeLog

v0.6: Use an empty consoleid. Warning: be sure to get my 0.6 version
v0.5: Add support for firmwares older than 3.55
v0.4: Don’t use PS3DNS anymore
Installation

Install dev_blind.pkg and OpenPS3FTP on your PS3 (using FTP, external USB or what else)
Launch dev_blind and make it mount the flash
Open OpenPS3FTP
Connect via FTP to PS3 (using username root and password openbox)
Go to /dev_blind/data/cert
Rename CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak
Put my CA27.cer as /dev_blind/data/cert/CA27.cer
Set the PS3’s PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS server to your PC’s IP address
Reboot your PS3
Start ****Psn-v0.6.exe
Enjoy with PSN

Warnings

If you have followed the OLD guide you need to rename the original CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak and (my) CA24.cer to CA27.cer and you have to restore the old CA24.cer, by renaming CA24.cer.bak to CA24.cer
This is needed since some games use the original CA24.cer
If you lost original cert, you can take it here
FAQs

Q: ****PSN does not start or prints “Address already in use” as error
A: Close anything that is using port 80 or 443, try also to close skype and to disable ICS if you are using it.

Really starting to wish I was back at home instead of having to use 3G for a connection!!!!

Would love to be able to play with stuff like this.

2 more weeks!!

Hell, I'm going to feel like a total noob when I start messing with the PSN stuff!
Meh, at least the instructions look like they are getting easier.

Ok, so if I got an email when the banwave started and have had my PS3 offline since, would this be safe to use?

I stopped using the older version as changing the CA24.cer did something with Batman Arkham Asylum to make it freeze.

Probably a stupid question but as it does not mention it above, do I still need to use 3.56 spoof? or will it connect on 3.55?

You never had to use the 3.56 spoof. So, yes, it will connect on 3.55.

I have yet to mess around with PSN while running cfw 3.55, will this allow me to once again stream Netflix to my PS3? I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to recover the ability to use Netflix for quite sometime now...is this the answer I've been seeking? Thanks!

I don't really know how the Netflix feature works but I'm positive I've seen threads here where people have ran Netflix without PSN access. In fact, I remember it being really simple. Why don't you try to search and see if you can find it.

The only post I found requires Netflix to already be installed, which I am unable to do without signing into PSN. Thanks though, I'll keep looking.

I didn't know you didn't have it installed it before. If you use FCKPSN you can access the PSN and in turn, activate Netflix. So, try this and see if you can access Netflix.

What about the new Terms of Service and End User Licence Agreement ?? if im not wrong it says that sony can update your Firmware without asking you , i really dont want to lost my CFW , maybe a scare tactic by sony ?? can anyone confirm this or its too early for this ?? 2. If you can connect to PSN with FPSN it appears on the PSN log as is you login as 3.56 or you need to spoof ??
