  • Non True Blue FW4.11 Game Fix Surfaces

A little competition never hurts anyone. So when someone other than NODRM releases game fixes. I am all for it. But when someone releases a game fix that has never been patched for custom firmware users or spoiled by the likes of True Blue. The hair on the back of my neck stands up. Today an anonymous source has released a fix for Damage Inc Pacific Squadron WWII. A game that usually requires firmware 4.11 now works on CFW3.41 & 3.55.

unlikely, xbox is way in front
most games hit the scene before release data and all are playable.

Would be nice thought if someone released a perma-fix for all future ps3 games

i didn't mean to sound like all TB owners want TB back, i'm just saying if anyone would want TB back, it'd be a TB owner.

anyways, i could see a perma-fix soon. i mean, dex is kinda like that atm. maybe someone can figure something out where you can like apply 3.55 keys or something above other keys without having to crack them. idk, i'm definitely no white or black hat hacker.

TB team is rich enough, they're not coming back.

They know they sold all the dongles possible and aren't going to make anymore money on this market.

I don't see them bother to make new patchs if money stops flowing in.

Waiting for Microsoft to announce their next gen console next year.
Got tired of waiting and don't feel like playing anything on the current gen anymore.

I'm not going to buy another Playstation, that's for sure.
Sony can suck it and put their TOS deep up their ass.

They stole enough of my money for overrated junk.

Hope they miserably fail with their next console and stop producing consoles.

Would love to see a new competitor on the market, see something fresh and new (Sega comeback ? Or Samsung jumping in ?).

it'd be tight if sega came back but idk how you would want sony to fail and leave. how about just a reality check kinda like nintendo when they didn't really have 3rd party support?
they just need to be taken down a notch

lulz. what are you talking about? only reason why Xbox360 is way in front and is hackable is because M$ used the same coding in their Windows as in their games. for x360 games, all you had to do was add something or modified something on the disc.

not to mention, x360's MAJOR flaw was in their own Disc drive. it was hackable mainly because they used a flawed disc drive that allowed x360 to be hacked.

Sony is smarter and way ahead. BD Disc couldn't be used the same way and had to be re-married just for it to function in another ps3. Software is constantly updated to include new features and to add feature.

So, the chances that all future ps3 games may be perma-fixed is like USA democracy actually worked and people voted for the one they wanted to the office or KKK running the world. in case you're not aware, only way for future ps3 games to be perma-fixed is if someone from Sony leaked the Master Key. Only surefire way to perma-fix the game. think about it, and consider this before you compare PS3 to X360. and no, i'm not a sony fanboy. i happen to like PS3 and what it offer compared to what x360 attempt.

btw, what the latest homebrew games that came out for x360 compare to ps3? i've seen a lot of custom-made games for ps3 but yet to see any for x360.

I think he meant the X360 hacking scene was way ahead of PS3's but you do have to realize they also got a head start

If you think you need to be on TB firmware to run NODRM eboots I don't think anybody can help you
I don't need it, cause TB firmware can run with N0DRM eboots

once again, TB is not dead, will resurrection again, will the help of N0DRM eboot

if TB team is comeback again, someone will be laughing at you who said TB is dead or whatever you gonna want to say.

anything's possible. i remember people saying we'll be stuck at 3.55 forever and will just need to dual boot cause getting higher keys was near impossible.

are we already losing faith in the scene already cause we only got a few games patched recently?

I'm pretty sure I'm wasting my time here.

Yes TB can run NODRM eboots, but so can every other CFW - it has nothing to do with TB.

The last time TB released an eboot fix was 102 days ago. They stopped taking orders for them on all the distribution sites. - looks dead to me. We'll just have to wait and see who knew what they were talking about but I seriously believe you're misguided or confused

      I'm laughing at your statements,

how did you know, "They stopped taking orders for them on all the distribution sites" ??

see the banner on every store in every ps3 jailbreak news or forum, there was still a sale for TB dongle, and also TB official sites is not a dead link.

no public tools exist for 'converting' to DUPLEX/N0DRM (re-encryption/resigning) - making you completely dependant of releasegroups like N0DRM, DUPLEX, etc

Dependant on TB, dependant on the free scene alternative. Wow yea hard choice (sorry just had too)

I would take you more seriously if you weren't the same guy trolling this site and another one begging for a Sleeping Dogs fix. I can play it just fine on DEX so I'm not waiting on anyone to fix anything.

Those banners and the site are up for suckers. Every one of those game patches listed on their site has a free alternative

BTW you ever heard of SCETool or the SDK? You'd be surprised what you could do if you spent a little time with them instead of trolling

But isn't X360 only reason for being further ahead of PS3 was mainly because X360 had a weaker security than PS3? From what I read, you could easily mod the ps3 either via the disc drive or flash method. For PS3, you needed to figure out the code to inject, the key to allow backup games to be played and not only that, but from what I've seen, PS3 also had several homebrew than X360. All I've found for the X360 was how to improve dashboard, how to cheat on online games by using a method, and a warning that your console might get banned.

But I will stfu and eat my own words if you can find a list of homebrew that doesn't involve piracy of movies and games.

      for what system?

thatotherdev has made plenty of great lil games and stuff. the psp had some cool lil homebrew apps.

the problem is homebrew is generally open source, meaning, you can do what you want. when you can do what you want, you're gonna take what you want. if there weren't rules, people would steal. you're limiting things because of what homebrew can do.

Homebrew has very small if not any interest at all on next generation consoles.

Well, the PS3 needs managers and that kind of stuff (which X360 doesn't need at all), but apart from that ...

My media center plays movies much better than any multiman will ever do, and I honestly can't believe PS3 users are fond of Ufo racer ....

So in my opinion the X360 doesn't need any homebrew and is very fine like that.
    1. JOshISPoser's Avatar

i don't think multiman plays movies, it's showtime that does that.

people are fond, cause they're appreciative that someone besides a corporation is trying to make fun little games for free and they're of some quality. they're not spending years and making millions, they're doing it in their free time for us to enjoy.

i do like managers though. discs are cool cause you don't need to prune through them, but i like being able to choose stuff easily.

It'd be actually very funny to compare the percentage of peoples who think like that, to the ones who don't give a fck.

I'm just being realistic, I don't think peoples come here to play those small games.
They come to see if there's a new CFW to play new games.

Better to have more than not enough, sure.
But I don't think homebrew is carrying the PSX scene, far from there.
