New Statement and Freeboots from E3 - This One Might Surprise You

This one's going to be a bit of a shocker for most people. First team E3 has released 2 more freeboots. This time Splinter Cell Trilogy HD and the 1.04 update for Batman Arkham City. This update has been on my personal wishlist ever since Harley Quinn's Revenge came out. I just checked and the new DLC does work.

And now for the real surprise. E3 claims they will release all patches free to the public and they will also give us the keys so we can patch our own games.

Great news from E3TEAM

We announced in advance last week that E3TEAM will release a great news for all ps3 user.

Here is our official claim:

1: E3TEAM will release all PS3 game free in public.
* It allow any 3.55CFW play all the new game without dongle.
* Just like the free eboot released by E3TEAM before.

2: E3TEAM will release the new key free in public.
* User can decrypt the new game by himself in few seconds .
* Please note all the release will be free with NO pay.

E3TEAM are building a full new system to release those free gift.
* We expect user can join this sytem to get what they want after 1-2 month.
* We will release more news about this system later.
* (PS: all is for downgradable console )

Q) Did your source contain a ISO?
A) Yes, there was a ISO in the rar file
S) This is a bad source. You can not use this source. You must find a source that is real.
Fake Source: 85(files) - rar-01-82, sfv, nfo
Original source only has 83(files) - rar-01-80, sfv, nfo

Q) I booted from the app_home icon. But, it Freezes. What's wrong?
A) This Game will not work from the app_home icon
S) You must have a Game in the BR Drive and Boot from BR Disc icon

Q) Will this game work from Internal or External?
A) Yes, It will work from either
S) Please see above Solution.

Q) I'm a TB user and had this game working with it. But, Now it's not working.
A) Being that you used this game with TB you replaced files to make it work for TB
S) You must first replace your files with the Original files.

Q) I installed the fix and the ALL DLC fix and it's not working. What is wrong?
A) You didn't install DLC
S) Install DLC and then ALL DLC Fix

@roseball23 - it's a hell of a good game and now all dlc is playable too. It's definitely worth checking out for anybody that has never played it.

But quick question, I have a TB so we all know we have to be using the TB CFW. Will the eboots that E3 have provided work on TB CFW?

Forgive my ignorance as my Brain is still half asleep but are they saying that they are going to keep releasing Game Patches or the means to do it ourselves so we no longer need to use a Dongle to play 3.55+ Games on 3.55CFW ????

I had the original files, but if you change the PARAM.SFO version of your disc version to 1.00 then it shouldn't even look at the TB files. It will only read the update.

Edit: and yes, I was on TB firmware when I ran it. Works great

i ll better c PS3 exclusives like R3 & TM or console like DD & NHL12 than what already can b played on low-end PC + online like AlterMW3

anyway unless there isnt method 4 installing DEX without formatting HDD or installing Linux & only few 3.6+ games worx on external, i ll w8

sorry for the newb questions but I have the TB Dongle now..can I play these two games with the dongle still connected or do I have to take it out?
Also..as far as the batman game goes since it only requires me to put in the pkg file..do I have to change anything in the param to make it work(I never updated the game so its probably 1.00 right now or whatever it came with originally)

@Lakerfanalways - read my previous post. Short answer yes, you can play with dongle still in, and check your PARAM.SFO version. Drop it lower than 1.04

So many questions. Will be no E3 dongle in the future? Did the CEX to DEX discovery have an effect on this? If you think about it, it's a smart move to release free eboot patches if you are in the business of selling downgrade hardware.
