Guys, put your thinking hat on. It's always best to google the username of the person who did the fix, that will take you to the place they mostly hang out.

They also made 4.30+ custom fw, why aren't you using it? I waited a while too, but when I saw the writing on the wall, I upgraded. I was tired of waiting for fixes to come out, then worse yet, they finally come out and it's for the European version and I own the US one.

been out of the psx scene for a while but using multiman (latest) on rogero 4.30 i just get a black screen when trying to run tomb raider, says nothing and locks the ps3 up. ive used the above fix, which i realise is for an older firmware but leaving it untouched does nothing either :P

At least on on 3.55 it needs to be on external harddrive, in multiman options EXTERNAL and BDEMU on, and a ps3 disc inside drive.
