    For those who haven't updated to the newer 6.xx PRO and ME firmwares and are hanging back on the legacy M33 firmwares, you can now travel to the future with neur0n's 6.60 ME addon for Time Machine.




    neur0n has released his 6.60 ME addon for Time Machine, a homebrew app originally released by Dark_Alex. Time Machine takes advantage of the Pandora Battery recovery setup by allowing you to boot firmwares located on your memory stick. Through this, you can use that firmware as if it is installed to your PSP's flash memory, change the default settings and customize it as you please. Apply all of this to 6.60 ME and you'll be able to play games that require a higher firmware and use 6.xx plugins without leaving the comfort of your original firmware.

    The downside to this however, is that PSP compatibility is limited by Time Machine, which is limited by Pandora itself. This will only work with Phats and Slims that do not have a TA-088v3 motherboard inside. (The TA-088v3 motherboard, PSP-3000s and PSP GOs will not boot into the Pandora Battery recovery menu) If you're lucky enough to have a compatible PSP, you can give this a shot. Remember, you will need a battery converted to function as a Pandora Battery and a memory stick that is properly formatted as well.

    Install Instructions:

    With TimeMachine Already Installed:
    1. Copy TIMEMACHINE_ADDON folder to PSP/GAME directory on memorystick.
    2. Copy official 6.60 to root of memorystick, rename it to 660.PBP.
    3. Add/change this line in CONFIG.TXT file inside TM folder on memorystick: SQUARE = "/TM/660/ipl.bin"; (Or any free key combo)
    4. Run TIMEMACHINE_ADDON and choose option install 660ME, wait until all files are extracted.
    5. Shutdown PSP and power up again with the Square buttton pressed.


    Fresh Install:
    1. Copy TIMEMACHINE_ADDON folder to PSP/GAME directory on memorystick.
    2. Copy official 6.60 to root of memorystick, rename it to 660.PBP.
    3. Run TIMEMACHINE_ADDON and choose option1: install iplloader on MS boot sector.
    4. Choose option2: install 660ME (01g + 02g model). Wait until all files are extracted.
    5. Shutdown PSP and power up again with the Square buttton pressed.
    6. Add/change this line in CONFIG.TXT file inside TM folder on memorystick: SQUARE = "/TM/660/ipl.bin";

      I can check it out, not really sure on the installation process, but I can give it go still.

      EDIT: No, that is right, I updated to 5.50 Gen D. This is for 3.60 M33 or something, right?

      I dusted off me old PSP 1k model to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I am curious, do any of these 6.60 CFW allow you to just go straight to GAME > Memory Card > Launch the game.. Or do you have to run something first to be able to run the games like with some CFW? Only reason I am on 5.50-m336 (Can't remember if that is the correct numbers now lol) is because I don't have to run anything before running a game.. Just run the game straight away.

      on ME and PRO any game in ISO or PSP/Game folder shows in XMB so you can boot and go back to xmb and start another game without any type of iso loader it it built in and sees all the game it those folders

      No, this works independent of the firmware you currently have installed on your PSP.

      It is up to you but with 6.39 or 6.60 you can go back and forth at will

      No need to update i have 5.00m33-6 just get iso tool. Look on YouTube for a tutorial but it decrypted the game to make it playable on 5.00m33

      yeah same here....i just stayed on this fw too.

      da's last fw an last we seen of him i guess.....too bad.

      Nah, I'll stick with 5.00 m33. I've yet to find a game that doesn't work on it.

      I don't fully understand what this is for... Does this spoof an older CFW for 6.60 games, or actually install 6.60 ME? Does this do anything better than my 6.60 PRO B9?
