Deank has updated multiMAN to version 04.20.02. This is a minor update that brings changes and optimizations to /net_host feature that is used to load PS3 games via mmDM+ProDG. The scanning and refreshing process has been greatly improved. There is also a new option in "Settings" that "expands the contents of the XMMB media columns (net_host)" default is set "No". When disabled, mM will only scan for PS3 games in FOLDER FORMAT from the remote hosts. It will not scan for DVD/BD iso files or other non-game content

Showtime for multiMAN has also been updated with the standard changes deank applies for the integration with mM. Following the recent updates by Showtime developer Andreas Öman. Check below for all the changes and optimization for mM in update 04.20.02 in the official release quote by deank.

Seriously Deank, I love multiman, but PLEASE have the in app updater download the next BASE version, if the currently installed version is below what's required for the latest update. (ie 4.19 xx > 4.20 > 4.20 02, instead of 4.19 xx > 4.20 02)

@JOshISPoser Well, I don't know any other site that covers the ps scene like we do. Most of them do a lot of other BS promotions.

I'm just saying, I haven't seen any other site as dedicated to the various PlayStation sites. Sure, there's tons that do various things.

Official, because we are #PSX-Scene It's not like we run this site unofficially. We have a great #mod team, at least that is my opinion.

here's to hoping some day soon you'll get your mmdm to work with PS3 ISO games since I've converted my entire PS3 collection to ISO for use with Cobra CFW. The only games I have in Folder format are the latest 4.31 games.. and omg it takes forever to extract the ISOs back to folder formats!

BUT.. this is VERY interesting if I can now load those 4.31 games over the network on a NTFS partition!! Awesome step forward!

btw... where can I find ProDG? It''s needed to stream the games from LAN right? I can't find download link anywhere.. all links are expired

and btw WOW! I just realized this also comes with an update to mmCM!!! AWESOME!!

Does this mean that I can now patch 4.31 games to work on Cobra CFW 4.30 ?? I HOPE that's what it means!!!

I'm going to try it now.. flashing back to Cobra 4.30 as I type this

I just wanted to say thank you Dean for everything. I have been on this scene since the beginning with all the people, developers, writers and of course the bitchers. Not one of them is still out there everyday that I see besides you. With so many hardships/attacks made towards you guys, that just do it for the challenge, the people, no pay and I assume not much rest I am eternally greatful for what you have done for us. As I have seen for myself there are far and few between thank yous but I hope this one gets through. Keep doing what you do and long live the PS3 scene.

I second this. If it's possible I think it would also be beneficial for those who missed based updates. Thanks for the app, but of course.

Stupid question but, since when are there PS3 games avalaible in ISO format? Everyone I found was in folder format. Is there any advantage for being ISO?
On a related note, I heard on another forum that 3K3y ODDE can only play ISO games. I plan to get some hardware solution like that as an end solution, so that I can stay on newest OFW. Just like my modded PS2.
Does anyone know if games in folder format can be converted into ISO format? Redownloading so many games would be a pain.

Btw deank , is there a possibility that some dev - maybe you - can make an application, that splits +4GB pkg into multiple pkgs, drag&drop-way? Or is that too complicated?

PS3 games in ISO are supported by Cobra FW. 3K3y ODDE supports converting folder-format games to ISO but ONLY if you have the original disc of the game you're converting.

You can use my app split4G to split big pkg files. Then in mM [*Install Package Files] entry in the Home column will detect such split files and will rejoin them before installing.

I have installed the new navi-x plugin V1.07, and now I always get low memory info when loading movie in navi-x plugin of showtime, it drope to 5000kb, is that OK. I am on MM 4.18.04, anyone know why this is happening?

Then you should contact the plugin developers. mM just 'calls' showtime so it is nothing that I can do.

1.update your multiman. 2. Download the standalone showtime pkg from the Web column of multiman.. After you install that you'll be able to access showtime from the XMB under the TV/ video services column. See if that works for you.
