As long as this world doesn't collapse on itself and bring the ultimate destruction of all life on earth, Dean will keep upgrading his one of a kind backup manager. Today he releases a new update to multiMAN to the version of 2.00.04 and it sure does pack a punch. New features include Genesis Plus GX, FCEUltra, and VBA, as well as improvements to the XMMB Photo column, and the XMMB navigation.

CHANGE LOG FOR 2.00.04:

    Added: Threaded processing for various tasks (downloading covers, scanning, etc)
(no more GUI interruptions)
    Added: XMMB mode will invoke download of missing covers, too
    Added: Support for Genesis+ GX retro emulator (port by squarepusher2)
    Added: Support for FCEUltra (NES/ULTRA) PS3 retro emulator (port by squarepusher2)
    Added: Support for VBA PS3 retro emulator (GameBoy/GameBoy Advanced)
    Added: Support for PNG covers for Retro column (408×408 max resolution) (408×180 for best results)
    Added: L2+R2 will turn on screensaver mode (or put the PAD on a table/coach/sofa and press it down gently)
    Added: Caching of the whole XMMB mode
    Improved: XMMB Photo column display and navigation (no more image buffers release when full – a lot seamless now)
    Improved: Navigation in XMMB is completely rewritten – now smooth and faster than original PS3 XMB
    Improved: Increased image buffers (50 icons/covers) in XMMB (30 in prev versions)
    Added: Unfolding effect up/down while loading XMMB columns
    Added: Indication in XMMB mode when FTP service is used or background download is active
    Added: Warning prompt when user leaves multiMAN with active FTP connections
    Added: Screensaver Timeout option in XMMB Settings column (1-10 mins)
    Added: Link to GBATemp website with Online User Manual by Cyan in XMMB WEB column
    Added: FF/REW for Picture Viewer in XMMB mode (holding left/right or L1/R1)
    Added: Support for 2048 entries per XMMB column
    Added: Virtual memory used for certain tasks (like mp3 playback) to save real memory
    Added: Asnynchroious loading of MP3 files for playback
    Added: A bit more memory allocated to webbrowser and put it in separate container
    Added: MP3 playlist support for 2048 entries (was 128)

Using the in-built update feature I hope? xD

That is the sole purpose of the feature really ^^

I have been trying to work out why the PSXStore feature in MultiMan crashes the PS3 out so much (especially when hunting in the utils section). Definitely something that needs fixing.

Hopefully this:

Added: A bit more memory allocated to webbrowser and put it in separate container

Will fix it.

Yes you can install over the previous version, you won't lose any covers or data of any form.

I'm sad , I can not run this, it seems that it is only built for Kmaew, and not Wutangerza (I guess I should go ahead and change FW's.....oh well, but thanks Dean you a best

I don't know if you noticed but there's a .pkg in there labeled WT for your wu-tang FW. It should work for you!

how can I get themes and emu's to work on wutangrza ? what is holding me back... ?

I know kneaw is better blah blah... but i installed this a long time ago and dont want to loose my stuff or bother redoing it for something as simple as this... any help would be greatly appreciated!

what i mean by getting emu's and themes is using the ones inside of multiman (yes I have multiman working with WT package... not that thick) when I download themes or emus they give me error codes as i suspect they are ment for kneaw... is there anyway I can sign these or do something to them so they work with wtr ?
