  • multiMAN v1.16.01 - Improved Display Mode + Download PKG from Web Browser

After what seemed to be a hiatus following the v1.16.00 update, Dean has updated multiMAN to v1.16.01 and has made a few improvements to once again "Make Things Better". Now with this update, a display mode (#3) has been improved, the built-in web browser can now download PKG files, multiMAN now remembers what games you used [select+x] on so that you don't have to, and once again improved memory management. Thanks again Dean!

Will give this a shot. I'm glad I won't be needing to push SELECT + X more than once on those black screen games.

in case you dont know the web browser is being put into the program for sites like this http://www.psxstore.com/ which will be basically like a better version of psn for people who dont use psn like myself. has demos and themes and game trailers and patches probably they will get some more good stuff as time goes on... would love to see a video section where they format videos to work on the ps3 from other sites or enable us to download videos from websites through the ps3

I have never re-done any backups and I usually install over the previous version. You can install from Multiman instead of downloading this.

The link RantingMute posted should have a BDEMU.pkg in it.

You just run that as a package file.

Question. I saw the last version had something called "PSX Store." Was that even included in the last version? Because I downloaded it and it was nowhere to be found. o.o on 3.55 KMEAW.

Wow, that's actually pretty neat. Not much point in the patches if you can still connect to the internet. Once you start the game, it automatically downloads. Other than that, I'm definitely going to bookmark this on my PS3.

Now all we need is a PS3 private server.

Asswipes, no one needs lv2 patching crap anymore, not even in kmeaw!. You're still living in a dank pit. Just run gaia manager first so it automatically creates the GAMEZ folder ( PUT ALL YOUR GAMES IN THERE ) and fixes permissions for you, then run multiman's latest version, and ALL YOUR GAMES WILL WORK!!!!. Wanna see this is true? Delete ****ing everything and restore, go back to Official 3.55, reinstall your selfpatched KMEAW, run everything in the order i told ya and voila!. I used to get random freezing/crashes with the old 3.41 jailbreak method, now i don't!.

      Just thought about something.

Not i front of the PS3 right now, so this may be an absolutely STUPID question.........but........

Could I rename the Multiman file/files that I have in thePS3 (add a 1 to the end or something) and install this version alongside it?

I know that would not give me two operational Multiman versions.........but.......
If this is easily doable, I could install 1.16.01 next to the 1.15.05 I have right now and leave 1.15.05 alone (in case I don't like the newest version).

I know, I know, it's quite easy to go back to a previous version. Am just curious about it.
