  • MultiMAN v01.12.05 Arrives for 3.55

    Deanrr has updated his popular MultiMan manager software today, bringing the release up to version 1.12.05. The new version brings support for 3.55 firmware, but don't get too excited yet. Games do not yet work via the manager software. However, they do rip just fine with the app. More work will be needed on CFW before the app fully works with games.

    MultiMAN OBM PS3 Mod Version 01.12.05 is now available for download in the first post with new features detailed below.

    You can now update to version 01.12.05:


    • multiMAN can be launched from XMB in normal retail mode
    • Symbolic / hardlink folder copy in FILE MANAGER [R3]
    • New HELP screen in FILE MANAGER (10x condorstrike)
    • [L2]/Setup reports firmware and payload (if available)
    • Separate download for firmware 3.55

      I have to say this is one of the best app for the PS3. it is always moving forward and using features others are missing (AVCHD...love it!!!) and it is always being updated.

      What exactly is ripping a game and what's the purpose of backing up a game if you can't do anything with it?

      you can also copy games to internal, using this app for those having problems with ftp like me

      oh boy why don't you read around soon?

      people playing backup games already...

      how about getting a game with a friend... if you have one of course... back it up, and use the method that everybody is using?

      No not every game can be patched to run from the HD.
      If its an NPDRM eboot your out of luck for now.
      If you've read any of the howto's on this you would see that printed in plain text as the first warning.

      One thing i dont understand about this is that I have ripped a few games with the older version on 3.55. They work fine. Is there any change to how this rips the games?

      So will this allow booting of back ups (legal) on firmware 3.55 custom or original ??

      No, you can rip them to your hard drive but you can't run them.

      lmao! i knew someone would asked...the answer to your question is at the top...

      you can rip games with the backup manager, then patch the eboot(very easy) then boot it from xmb.......

      i'm aware of this, but so far the games i've patched so far worked.........

      Nice. I'll get started on updating this. Hopefully it'll allow external HDD's that way I can use the one I have for my Wii.

      So with backup manager. I. Can browwer I friend back it up. Then give back to and come play without the disk. Am I right. Just making sure I'm right if how to get to work. Really like to know. And can u play online with backups

      Thanks dean! Im not going to use yet, because im doing a few things, but cheers!

      Things certainly are moving forward, iv got a psx emulator for trial now. going to test!
