. Today Deank is back again with a new multiMAN release bringing the multifunctional app. to v04.18.04. There was a bug identified just recently that affects all version from 04.17.00, this bug affects copying of games and folders where mM skips files with names x.yyy (1 letter name . extension).

Also present in this update the on screen keyboard will not longer accept whats been changed if the user cancels the entry, The screenshot quality of JPEG has been increased to 90% and 1MB buffer size. Also for Rogero 4.30 CFW users Toolbox/IPF from app_home will be activated when you quit mM with (PS) button. Checkout the full changelog below for all the changes and additions in v04.18.04.

There is a bug introduced in mM 04.17.00 from December 20th, 2012.

When copying folders/games mM skips files with names x.yyy (1 letter name . extension).

Thanks to GotIt4Free for sounding the alarm. The bug is present in versions 04.17.00/01/02/03/04/05, 04.18.00/01/02/03 so if you're on one of these versions I strongly suggest that you update to 04.18.04.

Where can i download Multiman the most recent version/update from the beginning i think i messed something up when looking for the PKG code and now i get an error when starting up Multiman. It says something about download Base or Full because some images might not be seen. Thanks again

I installed right over it last night and worked perfect. This is awesome. One last question where can i download the newest games like Farcry 3, Black OpS II, DMC Thanks

Hi,

It seems there is a bug in the 4.18.04 version of multiman (haven't seen it in the earlier versions but maybe it was there yet). When you try to select the last entry in the 8x4 mode with the D-PAD RIGHT button (even in the options reached by the triangle button), you skip this last entry and return to the 1st one without stopping on the last entry. This last entry can only be selected by coming from the 1st entry and using the D-PAD LEFT button.

Don't know if i'm realy clear here, but to reproduce the bug, simply go to the pre-last entry in you 8x4 mode and try to select the last entry from there (the last one in your list, not the last on 1st pages, if you have more pages)...

Have tried it on several consoles and all gave me the same result. I haven't tested other modes, just noticed this bug by simply using MM as always...

I have installed MM 4.18.00 FULL then 4.18.04 UPDATE on all machines and everytime I get it...

I think it was there forever It is fixed in the online version (you can update to it by starting mM while holding L2+R2 and update).

If you already have mM base installed you just download the update and install it. Nothing else needed.

Not sure if anyone has this issue, but after installing the update, showtime keeps saying there's a new version available. i try to download it via MM, but it errors out, then it says i dont have it installed. Ive deleted MM, installed 4.18.00 BASE, then installed the 4.18.04 update, same thing.

I deleted and reinstalled it and showtime is now working as long as i dont try to update it. As soon as i try to update showtime in MM, it errors out When i downloaded and installed the .387 update pkg, it only updated the one in XMB, not in MM. any help would be appreciated.

Showtime 4.1.419 (by Andreas Öman) for mM and standalone are available.

I took the 4.18.04 UPDATE R2 as you suggested and the bug is fixed, thank you for your work . In the mean time, I don't think it was there forever as I never noticed it before (and I played my "last" game before ), I think the issue appeared since "Rebug Toolbox" was auto-added at the end of the list (I guess since 4.17.00 ? Not sure about the version thought).

if i download and install the pkg, will this update both showtime programs in XMB and mM? or will it just update the one in XMB like it did when i installed the .387 update?

The showtime for mM is updated within mM. The standalone (in the XMB Video column) is updated if you install the standalone Showtime [CEX].pkg package. You can download this pkg from the web column in mM.

ok thanks,

im just worried that if i try to update showtime in mM again, its going to error out and get screwed up like it did the last time i tried to update it. i will try it out tonight and hopefully it wont error and say that its not installed...

May be you just had the bad luck to update at the very same moment when mM's update server went down for few days. Installing any BASE/FULL version of multiMAN will get your the showtime for mM (or you can simply delete it from USRDIR/sys and update online). It is not a problem to worry about.

I have a problem, when deleting games from Multiman 01.18.04 it stays a lot of time, and some times it blocks my ps3 for several seconds, still testing this problem.

This is how it is on 4.** CFWs and it is the PS3 that does the background processing when deleting files from internal HDD. I can't change anything and the only solution is to wait until the slowdown goes away.
