not sure how fast of a mirror you need on a 5mb file Especially when you have to wait 30 seconds and enter a captcha before you can download it. mirrors are always appreciated but that provider is a pain for small files.

For your notice, updates above 4.18.01 seem to have problems with lastGame load. Some games would pop up a blank screen when loaded through lastGame and wouldn't have a problem loading from inside mM. BTW all my updates are through inside mM. Do I have to install lastGame again? mine is the one that came with 4.18.0 full.

@deank, have you tested the latest versions of Rebug? If yes, have you been aware that the USB Ports issues that you fixed in 04.14.00 are now an issue with the latest Rebug versions. The function works just fine. Depending on the "Install Package Files Method" option from Settings it will create bubbles (on 4.21/4.30CFW) or will mount the PKGs in the [*IPF].

The latest lastGAME is lastGAME41.pkg from December 27th, also available for download in mM's web column. mM updates can't affect lastGAME compatibility. As you know, lastgame does not support 'bdmirror' mode.

Hey Deank, thanks for your work but can you possible add a setting to choose the look of the old 8x4 game list? I just hate how the new covers look. Or anyone know some theme that is the same as the MM 4.14 version or lower? Thanks.

you can't start out a post by being grateful, and turn it around and be ungrateful at the end. It doesn't work that way Best answer would be use 4.14 if you want it, otherwise enjoy the progression of this wonderful piece of homebrew

They are downloaded as zip files you need to access these in file manager and double tap on them to unzip them to your package folder

So many people ask for the 'old' 8x4 (which I don't think had the glossy overlay) so I'll keep it without it for now. I don't want to add options for such things, but I'll see about it.

Anyway, if you wish, start mM while holding L2+R2 and update online. Let me know if the reported issues with mp3/osk/8x4 are gone.

The changes I made are:

* When on-screen-keyboard (OSK) is used and user cancels the entry mM will not accept the entered text
* Created proper ring-buffer for mp3 playback which should mean no more glitches/pauses of the music
* Removed the glossy overlay from the icons in 8x4 mode

a small ftp related bug - after properly disconnecting with ftp client, MM still reports that there is a ftp connection active when trying to exit.

also, only 4 or 5 parallel ftp connections are possible.

The function works just fine. Depending on the "Install Package Files Method" option from Settings it will create bubbles (on 4.21/4.30CFW) or will mount the PKGs in the [*IPF].

I am on Rogero 3.40 v2.05 now, before I was on Rogero 3.40 v2.03 and v2.04. Before, I am not exactly sure on which FW from the ones mentioned, and don't exactly know what MM version, I didn't change any "Install Package Files Method" ever, and got in MM, opened "Install Package Files" from within it, selected some pkgs by using the x button, these where queued, and then pressed triangle to install, it quit to xmb and the bubbles appear. But now, when I do this from MM, they get queued up and when pressing triangle it quits to xmb and no bubble for the selected packages appear. I usually used this "Install Package Files Method" from within MM because it has the progress bar shown in there.

When i try from the "Toolbox" in app_home, the same exact scenario described above, this works and the bubbles show up in xmb.

As mentioned before, I am on Rogero 3.40 v2.05

Previously I was using MM 04.17.05 I think, and when doing the normal IPF steps as above, I got the PSN bubble.

What I did, is deleted the old MM, (04.17.05 I think) and installed a fresh FULL 04.18.00, and after that continued with the updates 18.01 and 18.03, and tried IPF from within it, and booted to xmb without the bubble.

This is because, as I checked the change log, because in 04.18.00 you:
"Added back "Install Package Files Method" to Settings for 4.30 firmwares"
and as I checked now as you advised the Install Package Files Method was set to Standard. I set that to PSN bubble and there it was, it's working again.

As a suggestion, can you set, for 4.30 firmwares, the Install Package Files Method to be PSN bubbles, so it behaves as it was on old MM, and as it would be expected - as like does the Toolbox from app_home do?

There is a bug introduced in mM 04.17.00 from December 20th, 2012.

When copying folders/games mM skips files with names x.yyy (1 letter name . extension).

Thanks to GotIt4Free for sounding the alarm. The bug is present in versions 04.17.00/01/02/03/04/05, 04.18.00/01/02/03 so if you're on one of these versions I strongly suggest that you update to 04.18.04.

What does the Standard method do on 4.30 firmwares?

If you're on Rogero 4.30 v2.05 or Rebug 4.30 there is no need to use the bubble method, because there is a normal [*Install Package Files] menu in the Game column (like in 3.41/3.55/4.21 firmwares). If you use standard method then you install the pkgs from the [*IPF].
