    PS3 Developer Deank has updated multiMAN bringing the application to version 04.11.12. This is a minor update that provides some fixes and improvements to FTP, among other things you can see below for the full changelog.



    Changelog
    A minor update:

    • Fixed LV1 peek/poke for 4.21REX in DEX mode + DEX lv2_kernel
    • Added back IDPS display in "System Information"
    • Added preliminary support for 4.30CFW with LV1 peek/poke syscalls (sc 8/9) or lv1 mmap patch (hvsc 114)
      (if such CFW is released then direct-disc-access/PS1 disc backups should work)
    • Increased number of supported simultaneous FTP transfers to 8
    • FTP user/password can be anything
    • Added support for "Change BD-Movie Region" function for 4.30CFW
    • Updated Showtime to 04.01.224

      Dumb question alert!!, do i get the CEX or DEX version ?? i want the DEX version for the directdiscaccess feature but no sure if it will work in rog 4.21 :s

      Direct disc access will work only on firmwares which have the proper patches and currently the only one 4.** that have them is 4.21REX.

      Damn! that means that it will transfer 8 files at the same time? nice addition indeed!! now it won't take 3 hours for a game that has like 26000 small files lol. Nice work Deank, as always.

      This update fix the PS1 game ? Cos i'm on Rogero v1.02 and MM 4.11.11 is not working with both original and backups disc (PSONE) on a CECHC 04 EUR.

      EDIT: nevermind, deank said on PS3Crunch:

      This is true and as gDrive said - LV1 peek/poke is required for the function to work and it is not available on rogero/e3/blabla 4.** firmwares (except rebug).

      so, is this a hint that rebug is gonna release a 4.30.1 firmware? from the wording it doesn't sound like it but that'd be cool. i would assume if all features are intact, the higher the firmware by them, the better.

      Hey deank, thanks for all the greatness you bring to the scene. I have a problem with having my 2 3TB external hdds connected at the same time that seems to be the cause of some games black screening. This doesn't happen when I have one of the external HDDs connected. I'm on rebug 4.21 cex. cechl phat. Do you believe this is just an issue with me, rebug, or multiman? Didnt happen when I was on kmeaw.

      It is a known issue on all 4.** firmwares and currently nothing can be done.

      Yes, of course it means exactly that... Displaying IDPS in "System Information" in multiMAN will keep you from being banned - don't worry.

      Just curious, will a USB hub (non-powered) work with 2.5" external HDDs? I am still on 4.30R v1.0, can I update to the latest MM safely?

      yo, to Install a full multiman version, should I download one of the old release then upgrade within the program? I'm on rex 4.21. Thought older versions didn't load with new cfw, that's why I installed directly new base
