according to your knowledge, do you think there will appear a cfw with the required pokes and peeks?

I've noticed that multiMAN doesn't always scan my external HDDs for new content when I turn it on. Is there a setting for this?

I installed the Full pkg version. And I quickly noticed that the game covers look a bit poor on the quality side. A bit grainy or "mosquito" effect around the text parts of the game cover. Or maybe I am sitting too close to my screen or my eyesight is getting dodgy.

Perhaps you used an image shrinker or optimizer that even though it makes the file size smaller, it also sacrificed the quality of the images. I may have to revert to my backup. And may not install the full pkg from now on.

I understand why you must have to try to compress them, so we don't end up with a 500MB pkg install. I think we ought to not include the game covers in the full pkg. I think we ought to let multiMAN fetch the game covers online according to what the user may own and etc. This way the online JPG covers online could be of better quality.

Please note that I've always used JPG covers, so I know that's not the issue. I know that PNG is better, but the previous JPG's used to look a bit better. Or at least my eyesight was better!

Does this mean we will never get PS1 games running again or would the newer CFW need a slight modification?

*edit - sorry, I posted while someone else did the same and Deank replied. Thanks

I used update function in multiman on PS3 to do autoupdate but the cover of FIFA 13 and others is still incorrect. Do i have to remove multiman each time and do a clean install every time there is an update? ty

You need to install the full pkg version. Since that's the one that will have the game covers and overwrite the older ones. When you do it via online (autoupdate) or just grab the "base" version, those don't have any game covers.

Now I don't know if deank has updated the game covers that get downloaded automatically via online through multiMAN, but if he has updated those also, perhaps if you go into the game covers and just delete the incorrect versions, it will then automatically download the new versions. But that's if he updated those like he did in the full pkg of 04.09.00

K thank you. It's ok to intall the full pkg over the current one or do I have to uninstall multiman first before installing the new full?

Do you have any Retro ROMS in mM's directory? Or also any Split Files cached in mM's directory?
