    Deank has updated multiMAN bringing the legendary application to version 04.09.00. This update contains Fixes to Cover Database, Updates to gameDATA3, lastGAME3 and bdRESET3, Updated Showtime to 04.01.208, & deank also added a hidden option in options.bin "kid_protection" for details and downloads links please look below

      has anyone noticed that when you select a game in MM, then load it from the ps home screen, after the game boots, press PS button and highlight the game disc icon, it shows the image of the game being played upside down and mirrored! Thanks for all the hard work Dean, MM is the best!

      Think my question got lost in the middle of the ftp thing. But here goes again.

      So i updated to cfw 4.30rogero and the majority of the games i have backed up are not working tried with disk in the system and bd mirror and changing from hermes to standard and vice versa ... and none of the newer game o 4.00+ firmware dont work at all for backups any tips i could realky use the help if im doing something wrong thanks a lot....

      Love mm use it all the time never has failed me until now but it could just be me. Thanks for the help in advance

      I know your having a war of words with deank right now but im for real looking for help with what i might be doing wrong or if i have to wait for something in a update to MM. The app loads up great but not all games are working like before even fresh backups i did today. And it might actually be the firmware too but trying to cover all basis here.

      Just trying to figure this out i backup my games so my kids dont ruin them and i dont have to go through all 90 games i have to get them to play. Im just not sure what im doing wrong seems like most people are not having any issues so was just wondering what i need to do to enjoy MM the same way everyone else is. Im sure its a setting i have screwed up but i dont know what to mess with and what not too. Dont wanna screw thing up worse then they already are....

      It seems these 4.21/4.30 firmwares still have some issues and create problems for some users/configurations. Pick one game that you have issues with and do the following:

      1) Delete the Game Data from the "Game" column in XMB for the selected game
      2) If game is on USB HDD - connect it to the rightmost port
      3) Start mM, check if "Standard" option is enabled in "Settings" BD-Emulator.
      4) If not "standard" - select it, reboot your ps3, start mM
      5) Check in the "Game Settings" menu for the game and disable all options ("Direct Boot", "BD Mirror")
      6) Try to load the game with a Disc in the ps3
      7) Start the game from the disc icon in XMB

      I think you can use multiman indefinitely. I'm sure deank will continue making mm compatible with all cfw as he has already. Look at the list of cfw that is supported. All the way back to 3.41. You can stay on kmeaw as long as you want and now you are in luck because scene has been releasing eboots and patches for 3.55 and 3.41 like you wouldn't believe. Read up!

      Edit: Although I can say that the new Rogero 4.21v1.09 is good and seems very stable so far. Its easy to move to it from kmeaw too, a few minutes of work and you got the new cfw with ability to play new games! Very nice. MM is compatible too. I am waiting around a bit to see if 4.30 is gonna be worth it or if we should just sit tight for now.

      hi can some one help me every time i load one of the newer games from multiman it either frezzes on me or the screen will go black and it will not load thanks

      I've had a problem as well with all games giving me a black screen. The way I fixed it is turning the power off on the ps3 and disconnect the power, reconnect power, only have the hdd with games inserted, turn on and don't do anything except start Multiman and start the game. I've found it almost always happens if I swap a usb drive while the ps3 is on. This won't help everyone but it's worth a try.

      Tnx for the reply...i did use ComgenieAwesomeFilesplitter...

      Also, it's to my understanding that multiman will only join the split files when copying the game from external to internal hdd....for this is version its not joining the split files somehow...do you recommend any pkg that could support Rogero 4.30? tnx

      I don't know if my case was isolated, but I was having a simliar issue, until I ran a database rebuilt, and my PS3 has been working good ever since. I was shitting bricks that it was taking long, but after it rebooted and found I just had to reset my display settings, things have been great ever since.

      I wonder if you had put them on an optimizer of some kind and perhaps made them not work on the PS3 for multiMAN?

      No, it doesn't work on any of the recently released 4.** firmwares. It requires LV1 peek/poke which is not available in the e3/rogero.
