Deank has updated multiMAN bringing the legendary application to version 04.09.00. This update contains Fixes to Cover Database, Updates to gameDATA3, lastGAME3 and bdRESET3, Updated Showtime to 04.01.208, & deank also added a hidden option in options.bin "kid_protection" for details and downloads links please look below

oh really, I was not aware of that since I only use WiFi to transfer stuff, in that case I could see it being useful.

But I still think that multiman's ftp server is good enough for most people as I don't think the majority of people use crossover cables, and it seems that surprisingly few people know about the fact that multiman comes with a ftp server built in so that's why I usually tell people about that when they ask about ftp applications.

Anyone having issue with RetroArch on rogero 4.30?

I cant get it to run at all. Just goes back to XMB no error or anything.

Anyone having any success? I am using the installation from multiMAN 04.09.00 FULL.

ah man, all these multiman updates, i just hope he never drops cfw 3.55 as im stuck on cobra usb firmware because psone is more important to me.

ive actually considered a dual boot system, one for rogero (or tb was my original thought) but i have a nand ps3, and progskeet didnt ever support dual nand or have any guide despite claiming it would work.

im hoping that when the new progskeet is out that the quick solder boards will do some justice to my situation.

something was wrong with these covers:

They showed a weird icon array pattern. Can't explain. I had to use an image editor to save them again so they displayed correctly.

I used the base version above. But I had mM online to see if it would fetch new covers automatically.

Still on KMEAW 3.55

If you mean the param.sfo yes I did check the remote play box and tried all 3 options, so far the only games I've got to work with vita profile remote play are Doom 3, Dead Space 2 and Lego Batman 2

Yea i am not sure what the issue could be. Do you get an error or just booted back to xmb? (i just get booted back to XMB)

Was the PS move bundle with factory 3.40 FW

I was on kmeaw went to rogero 3.55 v7 then to rogero 4.30
(I did downgrade once (never flasher just the software wasy 4.25to3.55 PUP) and this is the 2nd time being on rogero 4.30)

Tried the 4.30 PKG in this FULL download
Also i tried the 4.21 one as well. (same result)

im on 80g fat , not sure what original fw was but I purchased the metal gear solid 80 gig bundle.

was on 3.55 until recently 4.21 Rogero then 4.30 Rogero
i get no error just a frozen screen that looks like it tried to load Retroarch and bugged out with horizontal lines throughout the screen.
I have to reset my ps3 every time i try to load Retroarch.
I have tried 4.21ver. as well as 4.30ver. both same result. Not sure if i ever tried the 3.55ver. In any case if u get any info on how to fix this i'd be happy to hear it.

I got false positives, and had some issues downloading this. Nothing a little trick or two in the sleeve could help.

Installed just fine.

RetroArch works like it's supposed to for me and i am happy as one can be to play old games. Also take advantage of the latest goods on my PS3.

hi, the upgrade was sucessfull from 3.55 kmeaw to Rogero 4.30...the question i have is that since i did reformat my 120GB internal drive and tried to make backup for tekken 6 and GT5 which both have split files ...i noticed that multiMAN ver 04.09.00 is not joining the split files...tried to do little research and no luck since the lastest ComgenieAwesomeFilemanager supports421 only...do you guyz know any pkg that could join these files which supports Rogero 4.30?...thanks

What did you use to split the files with?

Also, it's to my understanding that multiman will only join the split files when copying the game from external to internal hdd.

I get 11MB/s over 100mbit and 30MB/s over 1Gbit with mM's FTP in the versions after 4.02.xx.

Just to make things clearer, Multiman also joins split files when you try to launch a splited game from external HDD. It calls this "caching files" for allowing to play splited games from external HDD (in fact you use some part of the game from external HDD and the splited parts, wich are then rejoined, from the internal HDD).

I agree first i used to get around 10mbps but with new versions and reinstalled and changing ip in ps3 net settings i get 25-35 mbps jumping to even to 75mbps which is very good(yeah if it remained 50+mbps always wud b better ) ..as for as blackbox i never got it to load so i used open ps3 and now mm...thanks deank for such great contribution...can't make donation as unemployed sorry but thanks again....

Would really appreciate some help. I'm on 3.55 kemeaw and not sure what version of multiMAN but my question is...can I continue to stay on 3.55 kemeaw and just use patched eboots to play new games? and if so what is the highest version of multiMAN I can run on 3.55?

So i updated to cfw 4.30rogero and the majority of the games i have backed up are not working tried with disk in the system and bd mirror and changing from hermes to standard and vice versa ... and none of the newer game o 4.00+ firmware dont work at all for backups any tips i could realky use the help if im doing something wrong thanks a lot....
