my ps3 is on cfw 3.55 but which one i dont know . multiman upto version 2.0 works fine but when i install 4.0 and run it, it shows me a black screen and a cartoon face and my ps3 hangs. plz help me i am a noob

I think I started very very early with multiman (when 3.41 PSGrade-minimus.hex hit the surface)
Im soooo thankful, its the most powerful homebrew I've ever seen.

And I recently tried your lastGame.pkg (although it has been out for a long time)

Would it be possible to make more of them?
Either: lastgame1.pkg lastgame2.pkg ... (this is difficult i think)
Or even better: Favorite1.pkg Favorite2.pkg and Favorite3.pkg
So we can set/fill those 3 "XMB-Slots" within multiman...

You're probably using Waninkoko Firmware. For 2 years I couldn't make people switch away from it to KMEAW, but now it seems a good moment to.

Find 3.55 KMEAW and install it - all is easier from there on.

If your games are playing - no need to update. If you want newer games - buy them, rip them, install 3.55 OFW/KMEAW and wait for 4.21CFW to be released (no PSN) or install one of the latest 4.30 and risk a brick or half-functional firmware.

PSX Disc Game backups require LV1 access and neither of the 4.** firmwares have it. Wait for a proper 4.21/4.30CFW and it will JUST WORK.

Hi Guys,
First of all thanks deank, really appreciate all the time and hard work you invest!
I've just upgraded from Kmeaw 3.55 to Rogero 4.21.09 and am running multiMAN 4.08.01. My question is about games with large files (eg Final Fantasy XIII, LA Noire, God Of War Collection etc) where I can copy just the large files to the PS3 HDD and then play them like that. They all used to work fine but now I can't seem to get them to run correctly. LA Noire runs but has no sound for the voices for example.
Is there something special that needs to be done for these games?
If I need to re-copy these large files, how do I make it give me the option again (to copy the large files)? Do I have to manually find the game files on the PS3 HDD and delete them there?
