PSX-SCENE Forum Discussion for Sony PlayStation/PsOne/PS2/PS3/PSP/PS VITA
  • multiMAN 04.06.02 - Software CPU/GPU Temp Sensor Added

3141card has made a standalone pkg that allows you to view the internal temperatures of the CPU & GPU of your PS3. Once the code was released. Deank picked this code up and implemented it into multiMAN version 04.06.02 (CEX). You can now view the temperature of your CPU & GPU just as easy as checking the time in multiMAN. Great job 3141card ,Mysis, & Deank and anyone else involved. This will be of great use by many people.

    Update: Fahrenheit PKG added

    multiMAN changelog 04.06.02
    04.06.02

    * Added option in "Settings" - "Show Temperature Data" in Clock area (Disable/Enable/Auto) (thanks to Mysis and 3141card_)

Auto: will cycle the two temps along with time

Enable: Will display everything like the image below

If you didn't catch it, he's making fun of the spelling... (censor vs sensor) : )

I don't make fun of typos as I'm normally posting from a tablet and end up with quite a few so to each their own

It depends on what you're doing. Just watching a movie won't be as high as running an intensive game for the same amount of time. It might not be a bad idea to get some base readings from multiple consoles doing multiple tasks

Dumb Question as I am not home to update and test. since Fahrenheit support was added, did this get rid of the Celsius mode? I'm from Canada and I prefer the C readings, as that is what I grew up on.

No take a look at the pic below. Fahrenheit & Celsius can be used, (only auto for Fahrenheit)

Plus its a cool thing to monitor when using laptop coolers on it, to see if it makes a difference or not. Hope they can add this feature to regular mM.

I hope not... sounds like your PS3 is overheating. (almost 155 degrees Fahrenheit)
