multiMAN 01.17.04 Released - New XMB Display Mode

Dean has released a new update to multiMAN, bringing the version to 01.17.04. The new release brings a very neat new display mode which simulates the PS3's XMB. The new display mode replicates the look and feel of the PS3's real XMB, allowing you to launch games, backups, and movies in a familiar fashion, all from within multiMAN.

hello my friends, i have a question.
im on 3.41 CFW Hermes.

Can I install this version on 3.41 CFW too ? And whats with the Payload ?
Does start this Version of Multiman a Payload automaticly, if yes which Version of Payload?

Whats the difference of Hermes 4b Payload and Syscall 8/36 LVL2 Patch .....

Ok, I dont get it...
I uninstalled the 1.17.02 version and installed this multiman_3.55.pkg but it just come back to XMB. Whats wrong ? How should I install this one ?

Edit:
Nevermind, got it. It was an update pkg, so I needed the previous version already installed.

I didnt like the XMB display... kind slow yet, but maybe with some future improvements it can be a really nice display.

But thank you very much, the "Game Disc" bug is finally fixed. :-) :-)

yes open the .rar and copy the 3.41 .pkg onto your memory stick

Wanted to know what is a BDEmu file as it is missing or already included in it !!
What does it add to the multiMAN

The BDEmu file is for getting backups working if you dont install it will send you
back to the XMB so you will have to download that to it doesnt come with it

it should send you back to XMB them choose app_home/ps3_game/ with a disk in the drive..

"3.78 MB" Its not full version... its just the update pkg 01.17.03... I dont know the differences between versions 03 to 04. But I may update it again soon, just to prevent.

Does anyone have a problem with Last game played picture being different than the actual game? Often the pic shows the current game loaded and last game says something different.
Also when I boot up the ps3, am I supposed to be able to go right to the last game played or have to go to multiman and load the game first?

I must say this software rules! I've been using this for a long while now and it just gets better and better. Props to Dean for all his work and efforts. I haven't tried the lastest update yet, but if it's slow as users are reporting i'm sure Dean will get this corrected at some point.

I have a very similar problem except it's not always the loaded game, sometimes it's just a random back-up.. and once you've loaded up multiMAN the first time, the load times really aren't bad. I always run into crashes with Last Game Played, I would recommend just doing it the regular way, maybe it's just something I did/am doing wrong, doubt it though.
