Don't you hate it when you buy a game that the censors deem fit to butcher even though it's not a children's game? Especially when the rest of the world gets to enjoy a game as it's meant to be played? That is no longer the case for US owners of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe aka MK8. futuretime23 dropped off a little present that gives full uncensored fatalities for The Joker and Deathstroke as well as Skeleton Scorpion that owners of both US and Eur versions can enjoy.

And so,after taking a break from modding(i did release a fatality and chariintro mod which put back the hidden beta voice for sub zero's alt costume in the mk9 modding thread)

This is a modpack for MK8/MK vs DCU: the contents are:
Skeleton Scorpion
Uncensored Joker Fatality(towards,away,towards square at close range)
Uncensored Deathstroke Fatality(towards,towards,down,towards triangle at close range)

In order to use these mods you will have to go to your mk vs dcu backup and go to the ps3toc.txt,once there,edit the sizes(right click one of the files and go to properties,copy the size,not size on disc and delete the size present for say char_scorpion,paste the new size and remove the dots or commas).

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE MODDED DEATHSTROKE OR JOKER ON THE BLES VERSION,i havent tested it yet on that version but if you perform the 1st fatality for them,the game might crash,but skeleton scorpion should work just fine.(one thing to point out is that any fatality can work on skeleton scorpion and one lulz inducing thing: use the lava pool fatality with skeleton scorpion)

thanks to the PSX-scene for being such a great site and also to bahumatlord for helping me with the chars(joker and deathstroke) and frikkiefrikkie's tool to mesh swap!

(another bug i forgot to mention is that skeleton scorpion doesnt throw the spear properly and that if using normal colo palette skeleton scorpion,several effects such as getting freezed wont show up properly but if using alt color palette which gives a black and orange skeleton,the effects will show up properly).

Vids or/and pics will have to wait for a while but in the meanwhile i hope you have fun!

I think that the european version of this game is already uncensored originally. That might explain why this mods does work well on the BLES version.

Ya, the EU version actually shows Joker and Deathstroke shooting their opponents in their fatality, which is kinda funny considering one of Shang Tsungs fatalities in MK9 is a modded version of the EU Joker fatality. (same animation, different clown) Nice work FT

I have the uk version so i am all good, also i noticed that about shang tsng fatality too, quite lazy on thier part.

I don't know about lazy. They've been making these games for what? 20 years? Maybe they need to watch 1000 ways to die for some inspiration

I wonder if they included that Shang Tsung fatality on purpose because many people with the US copy of Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe never got to see the uncensored version. Every character in Mortal Kombat 9 have two different fatalities, and most of them are original if i'm not mistaken, so i dont think it is much about being lazy. I'm sure that they could have come up with a different fatality if they were concerned about this.

After using Scorpion mod, is there any way of use his original costume, because i did'nt backup the file, if not can please someone up the file or indicate where i can find it.I dont like de mod.

teco,from what i've looked in mk vs dc,the difference in the chars from both versions is zero,so normal scorpion from bles should work fine with blus.

OMG thanks for this as I love this game and always felt kinda gipped when I bought the game so I imported the 360 Euro version but this will suit my needs for the use of my beloved DS3!!
