I could be wrong, but I'm assuming you can update the game with the official patches and then apply these patches without any problems. One can only test and see. I'm only assuming this because some games are patched to not work on 3.55.

???? as stated above, these are all playable lol. im on hermes still and KNOW that ive played la naoire and mk9 on my ps3. been awhile but i remember it.
god i wish this scene moved like the 360. i really like the ps3, as stupid as it sounds: i like playing a game on my ps vs the xbox cuz of the controller, its just way better. eventually something will happen, its been almost 1 year since 3.56, somethings gotta give. maybe no one really is working on the ps anymore, ive thought that to be the case recentlly

What's the use of it. we already have played these titles. release patches for those game which are still not playable of cfw. then it will be of some use.

For those wondering, this is a fix for people who don't want to load their game to the hdd just to play it with CFW. These would be people who actually bought the game.

Yeah i don't understand why you people are so stupid.... it's for if you have the ORIGINAL GAME and want to play if on your ps3 using cfw.... not playing from a backup on the hard drive .......doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
Why on earth (even if you have the original) if your running cfw would you not want to run it from a back up is still beyond me though.

Convenience. TeamSGK makes a CFW that allows for these games to be played UNPATCHED already. So they have decided to start releasing patches that allow users to choose how they launch their games. I know certain games lose quality when played from HDD.

For Christs sake, these patches are old updates! Don't you remember when Brink was playable on 3.55 CFW because of a 3.55 update ages ago, even if you were playing it from a disc you could use the update to play the game. This also applied to L.A. Noire and Duke Nukem forever. I'm sorry but TeamSGK are nothing but a couple of fakes who think they're smart by uploading old games updates and claiming them as their own patches. Why don't TeamSGK fix a game like Skyrim? HINT: Because they CAN'T!! (I hope I get proved wrong though)

I mean this with all respect but you didn't understand my post, these are game updates from Sony, if a game is 3.60 fw but the game update is 3.55 fw you can use the update to play the game on CFW even from the actual game disc since the game update is stored in the HDD. I remember playing L.A. Noire from the disc on CFW ages ago with this (http://psx-scene.com/forums/f16/la-n...tml#post884476 (la noire working on cfw 3.55)) patch. Notice how that patch posted last year is around the same size as the patch from "TeamSGK". (The .PKG is exactly the same size but the download size is different because one has a readme file) I also used a PKG viewer to see if the .PKG files were the same and they were (EXACTLY). Hope this clears things up and these "patches" stop being reported as news.

isn't kind of pathethic how they still can't realease the last balanced patch for mortal kombat? what's the purpouse of playing that game if is unbalanced as crap? seriously, without the last patch who changed practicaly EVERYTHING in mk the game is pointless.
