More Info on the E3 flasher

The long awaited E3 flasher, which is the first of its kind to get a dual boot going with official firmware and custom firmware. Details have been brought to us regarding the release date and pricing details. The product is to start shipping around the 12th of September at a retail price of $88. In my years of experience, I have found that youth and common sense do not go together.

It seems like the majority of the "stupid" questions are asked by relatively young people that do not "get it" yet.

The older people around here (with a few exceptions) at least "have a clue" about things.

"a few exceptions" ................meaning a couple (like perspex) of the younger people "get it" and a few of the older people do not have a clue.

What is really sad is that every question asked, in this thread, can be answered by simply doing a tiny bit of research.
This is why I haven't tried to answer any of them.
I would just answer with a smart ass remark, so I just decided to leave it alone.

No need to solder for all slim consoles,even a newbie will get there.
I have pre-order one from lightake since this great news comes out. They promise ship by FREE DHL, it means I'll receive the E3 flasher in one week as soon as it release by manufacturer at the end of September, what a great service!

Hi there. I've ordered mine, hope to get it soon.

Since they've decided to include a clip for a completely solderless solution, I have a question about it. Can I install the flasher, downgrade, remove the flasher and have my jailbroken ps3 continue to work fine without the flasher installed?

Sounds improbable because that would mean I could use it infinite times on other PS3s. But on the other hand I don't see a problem there if I don't want the dual fw solution.

Just got the email from slickdoor.com , the e3 flasher are still not released. but they promise to ship it right away once the e3 flasher is out , hope they keep their words.
