does it work only with 3.70, or 3.70 and above ? looks great, but I hope it doesn't come to having to dual boot to play new games.

      16M NOR FLASH ON board
So fat PS3 with 256 NAND wont work, right?

Its for both NAND and NOR so yes it will work on FAT consoles as well, but with soldering.

Do you have to solder it on the ps3 slim also?

Its solderless for the PS3 SLIM but you would have to solder it on the FAT consoles.

No i dont think this device is solderless at all.... Soldering is necessary for fat and slim as well

this seems really interesting.. how much soldering is required as I have the fat one... (first UK model) and is there a guide/tutorial with pictures for the soldering job?I don't care about syncing throphies, but I would like to play some upcoming new games but don't want to lose my 3.55 cfw and buying another ps3 sounds a little bit too much for me.. (as I don't play that much anyway)

Will be buying at least one... maybe three... and at least one more PS3. This is a total win.

      WOAH!
Did anyone read the original official post? There's lots of extra info missing from this one.
One that stands out for me, is that the reason there's making only 3000 of these things is that they're working on creating a solderless one.
and that first picture, that device is attached on the PS3 over the HDD slot.
