Thanks go out to PS3-Tool.de team memeber /tot67, for stopping by the site today and letting us know about the brand new update patch released by the E3 team for Modern Warfare 2. Modern Warfare 2 Update 1.13 (Beta) Patch is the latest update for the game, and has been modified to work on 3.55 and 3.41 consoles. This means you can use this patch along with f***Psn, or the Rebug method, to possibly go online and enjoy this great game (currently, there are reports of the PSN being down; meaning, only time will tell if you will be able to use this patch to play online).

About Modern Warfare 2 Update 1.13 (Beta) Patch:

Our Friends at E3 Team gave PS3-Tools.de one more Proof of what they are be able to do and we will share it with you.

This Time E3 Team was patching the Update Package 1.13 for Modern Warfare 2 what needs 3.60 and it even works online.

This Update Package is for the European Modern Warfare 2 (BLES00686)

If you have a Game from another Region you have to edit your PARAM.SFO.

It is working on 3.41 & 3.55

For further NEWS we have to wait a little bit, because E3 Teams new Product is stil in Development.

As in the past E3 Team will create something awesome for a fair price.

Its not working for me.. BLES00683 change for 686 and nothing.. "disc is damaged"

Hey guys its about 2 month ago when i found this
i found a website says they have 4.11 jailbroken
i have the:
4.11 original
4.11 CFW
but iam not going to use them i need someone from psx admins to check this out

i dont understand why we cant just edit the sfo to spoof 1.13 and go online that way

As to why I said compatability as older EBOOTs aren't compatible with newer features but yea I should have been more clearer

It is not just about the eboot, the patches does change things in the game itself. So simply spoofing the game to version 1.13 means that you dont have any of the changes done to the game, and that will also cause problems with compability when playing with others who have patched the game.

But most of the changes in the game are simple un-encrypted file replacement which can easily be done by extracting the update and replacing them. So we are again stuck with an EBOOT encrypted with the wrong keys,and sometimes the older EBOOTs can be used in some cases

For this game I doubt it. They changed things like torches not being able to blind you from a stupid distance etc.

If you have access to the update files, then maybe. But i understood his question about just taking the original game and modify the eboot to version 1.13, without installing any updates at all.

updates are quite easy to download and just as easy to extract (giving all the available tools & tutorial we have available to us)

Hi !

We asked the E3 team for an other proof, and they delivered and that in short time. To clarify some things:

- it is named "beta" because E3 Team patched it without the possibility to test it on their own.
- the "special" thing about this is, that the 1.13 Patch for the game original requires FW 3.60
- it works perfect incl. online and mulitplayer but ONLY for BLES00686 - confirmed by some Members our Community - but all other Version dont work online/mp
