MiraLaTijera releases Cobra 6.0 Payload + PS2 Classic Keys

Could this finally be what we have been waiting for? MiraLaTijera has been hinting/working the past couple of days he would crack the Cobra dongle. Well earlier today he has released the Cobra payload from version 6.0. Is there more needed then just the payload? Is there more left to figure out? At this time your guess is as good as mine. However this is exciting news that we figured we share with you at this time. Stay tuned as this story develops..

Also with the news of PS2 Classics from flatz being released there has been more keys found regarding the PS2 Classic. It is unclear if MiraLaTijera found some of these keys on his own or he was just simply re-posting them anyhow here is the info from that pastie as well.

I don't think this payload is enought !! it need to be decrypted by special keys than fully analysed to figure out how this code is working with the PS3 & Cobra CFW & finally to be integrated to a new CFW & a new backup manager supporting it without the need to Cobra USB dongle.

After all, hope this is true & it will lead us to finally enjoy "freely" cobra features

So according to oct0xor this doesn't mean anything really. What else do we want from a cobra dongle though? We have ps1 backups running from internal and not many people have backwards compatible ps2s for the ps2 backup feature and psp compatability is shotty...I'd like to stream ps3 games but that's on cobras servers so idk if hacking the dongle would help with that.

This is good for people on 3.55 and under but all cobra does for people on 4.xx is act as a horrible psp emulator as far as gaming goes.

It does not work like that. Games stream from your personal local network.

I think people need to understand the difference between "then" and "than". For some reason, the misuse of those words bother me more than (hey, I used it correctly) other incorrect grammar. No one is perfect... We can forgive a "to" instead of "too" or even an occasional "there" for "their". FYI, "then" is time related, and "than" compares two things... I swear I get more stupid every day while reading forums.

On subject -- I thought the Cobra payload has already been released and nothing came of it? Well I hope it does mean something! =)

Cobra is full on disc-less support, no need for app_home, start from disc icon. As for ISOs burned to disc not sure, but I think so (there is mention of PS1 ISO disc on their site).
