By now we’ve all seen the multitude of PC apps and websites, that help ease the “pain?” of downloading homebrew. Now, the folks at MHU2D.net have revealed a new project that handles homebrew downloads, entitled Mhu Free Store. You may recognize the MHU2D team, from their similar free store app on the PSP.
Mhu Free Store is a bit different then the other solutions available. Mhu Free Store is ran directly on the PS3 itself, where as past projects handled the downloads via PC or by visiting a site on your PS3.
Currently Mhu Free Store is in private beta, and is promised to be much more polished before release. You can check out how the beta is progressing in the video below.
It’s been a couple of days since we brought you news that the PS3 version of MhuFreeStore was 80% completed. Little by little we will wrap up the details so we can finish the first version.
