Led Changer has been updated to version 1.1. Changelog below:
    • fixed the path that makes this HB Crash

That is right, deroad is back with another release for all of your Jailbroken PS3 consoles. Today, he introduces the world to Led Changer v1, and app that can be used to change the color of your system's LEDs (the power light). Be sure to take a closer look at this release, and then go out and experiment with your own PS3s.

This is a simple led changer.

this will change the led color and if it is on mode on/off/blink and it will keep it on that mode also on the XMB
for example now my ps3 has green and yellow together while blinking

this is a simple led changer
it reads two var (A and B) from a file.

the file must be called led.txt and placed in the main folder of a USB
    an example:

    on Windows:

My USB is j so, i will put this file here:
    j:/led.txt

    on OSX:

My USB is 8GB so, i will put this file here:
    /Volumes/8GB/led.txt

    on LINUX:

My USB is 8GB so, i will put this file here:
    /media/8GB/led.txt

    ======Colors=======

    A	Desc B	desc

    0	red 0	off
    1	green 1	on
    2	yellow	2	blink

I confirm this working now. great mod adds a lil more gander to the system. also you should add a .txt file extension to the read me file. somepeople aren't smart enough to force it to open in notepad wordpad etc

Can we use this to permanently change the LED colors? Like, can we set it so that when the PS3 is on, the color is, say RED? and when it's on standby can we make it yellow?

Also do we have access to the Blu-ray light indicator?

to be permanent we neet to patch the SC, but no one is able to do that rihgt now.
for the BD led, i will let you know xD (but if i will have something working, what you will see it's just the blue led blinking/off/on. just it.)

if needed i can release a version that doesn't need a USB.
just press the buttons and you will get the led changed.

no, because i added the *.txt just to allow you to edit it easily
that txt can be changed into
      0 0

      and nothing else

      have you read the readme?

      it's simple.
this app will read all the value inside the led.txt, it doesn't matter how many.
the only thing that request is two value:
my led.txt included with the tar.gz, will change the color to yellow and green.
but you can change the values to just 2: 0 0
it should turn off the led. (not so sure)

Why does it have to be in a usb? lol

because if you want to replicate the same color every time it would be more easy.
