@BahumatLord, well see, those are some other features also that they could introduce with a new dongle. They are all good suggestions. Nothing wrong with those suggestions. I mean, it would be bad for me to say, "all your suggestions are stupid.. yada, yada, yada". Right?

To this date, I haven't felt abandoned by TB. And that's a good thing. Even though they are in the mist of a dongle war--my money is still on TB.

Oh geez. My original 2tb external drive is filled with games that will work just on the firmware. I have created another 2tb drive that I've started putting TB games on. I can get the PS3 to recognize either of these drives alone and in either of the two usb ports (on a slim). However, when I plug them both in it will only read the first one and doesn't see the second.

Any ideas anyone? I hope what I'm wanting to do will be possible. It would be very silly if it wasn't.

well as mentioned about a new dongle to keep in good terms with the real tb owners they could ask for them to be returned to a specific destination to be checked real or fake and the new dongle sent to them free that way no1 who bought th original dongle would feel abandoned and would make very good buisness or even a very small charge i wouldnt mind but to pay full a second time definatley not

This is why I say that TB needs a new dongle. Lets just say that you have a state of the art vault that had millions but robbers had got into it. So you just modified the password since the vault cost you so much money to make. But robbers got into it a second time. As time go by you will ask your self why have this vault if robbers can still break in and take all of your money. TB is no different. Their dongle has been hacked LOL even though JB King doesnt know how to crack any dongles why need to if they can crack TB update. (See my point) At first you will think I am crazy (Like you did) but the end user will be getting the back-end not TB. Look how long TB took to crack 5 games. (Not the best games IMO) before JB King TB usually took like 2weeks or sometimes 3. I say TB needs to go back on the drawing board after all 80+ games is worth the $60 price tag IMHO. But then they release all the titles that people want. Hell call it TB2. If you had a computer and hackers kept on getting into it no matter how many times you got them out wouldnt you just ditch that computer and get a new more secured one?

Goku1992, the one major flaw with your argument, is that this is not the dongle scene, it's the PS3 scene. A harder to crack dongle should go against all that the scene stands for. If anything, the development of clones is more likely supported, as there is more of a chance to reverse and understand the process and implement it onto your own PS3. That is the whole purpose of the scene; why have others do for you what you can do for yourself?

One day, developers may come together, and pick apart these damned dongles. But until these noobs quit bashing and begging these devs, we are not going to see any fast progress, only slow and steady.

I feel that TB should be more focused on the gamers, and not the competition. Those "5" EBOOTs we saw released yesterday were most likely ready more than a month ago, but had to wait because of JB-King's advances... which means dealing with the public, and dealing with a new firmware release.

Plus, we are already seeing confirmations of a JK-King 2.61 work around, that will allow JBK to play these latest patches. Now, once again the end user will suffer as the TB team once again attempts to thwart the piracy of a piracy device.

Ending thoughts... Support those who are more concerned about supporting themselves than you? Smh, not really the best idea, but everyone has their own roads to travel. All we can do is unify and hope for the best, and possibly once again defeat these dongle masters at their own game... perhaps once again forcing their hand to release the "next" dongle.

The earlier issue with the HD wipe on previous dongle firmware and patches with clones wasn't instant. TB also stated that there were other unmentioned security precautions in place. Just because these JB-King users have managed to use 2.61 doesn't mean it's a good idea. There could be a 1 week, 2 week or more delay before the security precautions kick in and the JB-King users get a bricked dongle or worse, a bricked PS3

I know what you mean but honestly the whole scene is built around piracy IMO. It really is many people wont have a CFW on their ps3 if they couldn't play (backups) sure homebrew, applications, character moddings sounds nice and all, but the main thing is about playing the games.

When you bought a TB there was no guarantees that means that TB can just stop at anytime. And please stop with the I wont give my money out to them when 1 eboot fix paid for it's self. This is the problem that I am seeing. People think that TB should be obligated to them because they just paid $60 and think they spent out a alot of money. You guys are really the worst. Makes me question how many "original games" do you guys own and what do you say when you spend out $60 on one game. You have to understand that TB dongle has been officially hacked. Which is why TB needs a better solution (maybe a newer dongle?) I mean lets just say TB did stop supporting their original dongle and worked on a better one. People really gunna get mad when all they spent was $60??? I can understand if I paid $200 for the dongle but $60 is not that much money. People really gunna get mad when they have 85+ games to play for just $60.

I have a question to ask you guys since you guys are complaining about a 60 dollar dongle (shessh) what do you guys say when you spend money on one game and with the tax that comes out around $63.59 and I mean a brand new game that just came out. @Goku1992 - you keep calling for an updated dongle. If an updated dongle was needed because of something Sony did so the new games can be played, then fine. That's an acceptable reason to buy a new dongle. If they included new features like game updates, PSN content, Cobra feature support, etc, etc, etc, then fine. That's also an acceptable reason to buy a new dongle. The fix that you are calling for can be done entirely through software. There is absolutely no need to do a hardware update to tighten security

Dont get me wrong Devil May Cry HD collection sounds bad ass but that isnt the point. They are doing this because of JB King. They are really hurting their users right now. It doesnt take 1month and 9 days for an update and 5 patches. But idk their dongle been cracked and I honestly can say if JB King can crack 2.61 they can crack anything which brings me to the conclusion why work so hard to keep JB king out when they can get right back in? OR TB needs to just pay JB king to just back off you know like package them out

definitely an interesting choice of words..... It is a simple software fix. If you've done any kind of code, you know it takes time and is not an overnight thing, so a month to work out a new firmware update is not unreasonable. Look at what Sony did with the new keys. With the exception of dual boot setups they've effectively stopped the growth of CFW. TB can do the same thing and I'm not entirely convinced that they haven't fixed the clone issue with the recent update. The new security updates are unknown at this point. Just because the clones can install the new dongle firmware means nothing. There are such things as Time Bombs and Logic Bombs as well as many other measures that could be in place undetected. You can effectively brick a piece of hardware that is completely unrecoverable with a small piece of code.

Yeah I thought of that. There must be a good reason why TB waited a month to release anything. BUT still idk why people are complaining about newer games... too many games to play I am thinking about playing that Batman Arkham Asylim game and then after beating that play the newer batman game. (People say the batman games is awesome)

But then again Batman Forever for the SNES was a good game too havent beat that yet but still good.

Yeah I've been really tempted to get into batman. Also there is my Final Fantasy XIII game that I bought but never really played passed the 1st chapter. But tomorrow I am going to gamestop and picking up Resistance Fall of man for 5bucks and try to get into the series

was taking a look at something guys and apparently someone on another site is claiming that the people that uploaded video of bj - king (blow job king) is actually like a retail shop guys of some sort... : "probably not. The guy who did it in the first place (2.61 with jb king) is the biggest supplier of jb king in turkey. its not a hack site its made for him to sell dongles, repair stuff, etc. so jb king users will have some problem in a few days i guess. he is not trying to find a hack, he is trying to sell stuff"
